I just wonder if Dr can collect hair from face ( like someone has hairy mustache all over the face) instead of from head. Because head has not much hair left to do the process. Thanks
Julie Le that is possible however beard hair is more coarse so the characteristics of the hair will be different. They are also typically single hairs as well so there wont be much in the way of density unless the grafts are packed very tight in the recipient area. We often prefer to harvest from the lower neck beard line than the moustache, harvesting will leave scars and the upper lip area is one that is most always in direct view of someone in a conversation.
There’s a doctor in California Santa Monica specifically that does body hair transplant for people who have really no donor area and plenty of body hair

A guy in Toronto does this any the person who had this done has permanent head scars. The local YELP says this....I now suffer from permanent scalp pain, which resulted in a significant amount of donor hair loss. Minimal growth, three scars from ear to ear. Bat Man sorry to hear you had a bad experience. With three scars that you mentioned it sounds like you had an FUT procedure otherwise known as a strip procedure which can result in the symptoms you are describing. The ARTAS iX is an FUE procedure so only very small holes and scars are left behind after the procedure.

Hi Liping, the ARTAS iX can both harvest the hair as well as implant the grafts. The grafts have to be loaded into cartridges and then loaded into the robot which then allows it to implant the grafts into the recipient area.

Eso sería genial, y se pagaría a muy bien , pero lamentablemente cada cuerpo no es compatible con folículos de otra persona aunque sean hermanos, ya que el sistema inmune los rechazaría automáticamente, ojalá y en el futuro haya esa tecnología para que se pueda obtener cabello donante de alguien más ,
Honestly say...Arras at this stage is not as good as fut. Now we have good technique in fut in which scar is very thin and almost invisible. Don't fool us. Fut is still the best.
