One of only 2 clubs to win the Portuguese League besides the main 3 and the fallen giant of Porto. Rebuilding Boavista is always a treat in any game because Porto dont have a city rival like Benfica and Sporting have each other.

Fun fact Boavista was one of the few small teams to actually win the portuguese league back in the 2000/2001 season
It's the only team to win the league besides Spoting, Porto and Benfica.

Petar Musa, an Antalyaspor ICON in my Save with them where I am dominating Turkey after initially being sacked from Beşiktaş after actually being half decent with them. It made me unreasonably happy seeing bro at Boavista. :)
Very happy you picked a Portuguese team to do a save with... Okay, here are some interesting facts about the Portuguese league AKA the "tugão" and Boavista:
1 - Boavista are one of only 5 clubs to ever win the Portuguese league title (the big 3 and Belenenses being the other ones)
2 - The Boavista team that won the league back in 2001 was known for their physicallity. It was quite hard to play at the "Bessa" because of how tough their players were. They really turned their stadium into a fortress if you will. The stadium has a really cool black panther statue outside
3 - Some well known players that have played for Boavista are: Ricardo (the gk that beat England on pens in 2004 without gloves); Petit (the better one👀); Nuno Gomes; Bruno Fernandes (raised in the academy and repayed it years later whilst at Sporting by kicking a door in after being sent off - true story); and by far the weirdest one is Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink
4 - In their Champions League campaign in 2001, Boavista drew with Liverpool at Anfield and beat Dortmund at home. Back then there were 2 group stages (which was weird): they qualified in the 1st one behind Liverpool and above Dortmund and finished 3rd in the other one(that had Man U, Bayern and Nantes) Silva was one of the Top scorers in that year's edition with 6 goals
5 - One final funny thing is that the ex- Boavista president (the one that won the league) was also the lead vocalist for a well known alternative band called BAN. Their biggest hit was a song called irreal social (certified hood classic in Portugal)

oohh that's great you're playing boavista now. i've been managing them for 8th season, and just an hour ago have won the portuguese league for the first time. it was sealed in the home match against eternal rivals FC Porto, with 92 min's victory 2:1 goal of my team's legend Rodrigo Valente. who's in fact a product of FC Porto youth academy system. it was the first Boavista's title since 2001 (it's 2030 in my save). imagine this happening real, and filmed by copa90 stories, i'm so proud of my boys! good luck!

Great video once again, I really enjoyed the fact that you actually explained some weird aspects of Portuguese football (such as the way the League Cup works) and also the fact that you explained the Belenenses situation. Also, there is a fierce rivalry between Vitória SC and Boavista that you didn't mention, it is one of the biggest derbies in Portugal, making that another matchup that, on par with the Invicta derby, you should always look to win!
