I just started playing again myself after 5 years away. I’m having a blast the past 3 days, so glad I came back. Game is 10! Years old and looks amazing still compared to the stuff in market past few years.
Yes I fully agree with you I am having a ton of fun just doing all of the quests and going around the different area’s I have so much content to do as a new player its crazy lol! Glad to hear that you are also having fun again too.

I play the game on and off. Mostly around new dlc. I do love almost all quests. Most are really wholesome, some really sad, some gruesome and some simply tug at your heartstrings. Another thing is, that you meet reocurring characters. So you meet this Khajiit and almost instantly remember where you met him and laugh about the memories. And if you play it chronologically, they put in voicelines, for you to ask what they have been up to since you met last. And this is basically what makes the magic of ESO for me. All those little details, that go into the story writing. Most of them are of no consequence, but they make it way more immersive.
Another thing I really like, and I come to that, because you are talking about the skill system, is that while there is of course a meta, you can simply disregard that meta most of the time, as it only accounts for about 5% more damage or healing. So, if you don't have the meta settings, you still can do anything you want on every difficulty. It won't make that much of a difference.
Yes reading this makes me even more excited to get deeper into the game I have been having a great time so far and everything you have just said confirms to me what I was thinking.
With regards to the meta I love the fact that you are saying yes of course there is one every game always does but the fact that it doesn't matter THAT much is nice to see....thank you for this great comment and also thank you for watching!
I really liked this game when I was playing it. One of the things I found really nice was that most (if not all) of the quests were voiced, which is something you still don't see in a lot of MMO's. Lots of lore and activities. Seeing this makes me want to load it up again. Great video! 👍

I'm not a fan of the combat and animations in ESO, and it has kept me from playing the game. The ESO team has done a lot to improve things for their player base. Probably why ESO fans are so hardcore in their support for the game.
