This Fireside Chat so comfy you might think we were a cozy game (we're not). We continue our series with host Project Loki executive producer Jessica 'safelocked' Nam as she covers some SHMOVEMENT updates coming for this August playtest, as well as new environment blockout, and a spicy glider change we piloted with our focus group.
Any and all feedback is welcome as we do these!

Would love to see a sandbox mode where you can freely train the mobility in this game, Maybe even a time trail and different courses on the map depending on terrain + difficulty

Maintaining your momentum after a dash when you hit an obstacle is definitely something that will make the game even more enjoyable😍
ive never believed this much in a game project before in my life. and i have kept up with annoucements and leaks and releases for as long as i can remember. you guys are knocking it out of the park and ever since i played this game for the first time many many many iterations ago, even if it there were some thigns not quite right, not once did i question the potential of this game and that yall had the perfect team to live up to that potential. keep on rocking and i cant wait to play this game regularly on low ping (im south america).

Very excited for project Loki!!! I love the concept and cant wait to play it! It was really cool to see the process of the phases that are taken to develop a game like the block out phase and all that was very insightful!
We see all the amazing effort you all put into this game. Following along with you is going to be a rewarding experience and this game will be huge. Keep up the great work!

AAA IM IN LOVE ! using the fundamentals of league then adding movement shooter elements, love this combination hopefully no one will be complaining about the latest champ having too many dashes
The best way to ensure people don't get mad about excessive mobility is to not have a plethora of immobile adcs that are a core part of the game that get oneshot by the high mobility champions LOL
Really hoping Loki avoids characters that are designed to oneshot other characters with a click of a button. If they avoid that, I'm already a GIANT fan :D

Doing crazy and creative things with movement is probably one of the best ways of making games both enjoyable to play AND to watch. Seeing shots propel characters forward into gliders is really cool and now I wonder if one could even get hit by an enemy skill that pushes back and then turning that into a boon by using it as a getaway opportunity. Really looking forward to EU tests, game seems to look amazing even at a pre-alpha state.

as long as the enviroment and travel distance for every movement input, like jump time or booster timer, works with hitboxes and range to make the fun factor satisfying i'm in. OG league (I started in 2008 alpha) had a satisfaction to each hit like taking a satisfying bite out of something.

I can't wait to get a taste of this game. Unfortunately I'm in europe so no playtest for me yet. I would love to see how far from release you guys are, I mean I know there's a lot more work to be done but I would love to see a chart of the progress similar to how the guys making skyblivion showed their progress. It's easier to wait with a loading bar if that makes any sense

When the character deployed the glider lower on map , will you be able to dodge bullets that way?
how vision works in this game? will have to spin 360 from time to time to make sure no1 is coming from behind or flank? may be kinda unfun to do
