Imagine seeing your cruise ship at the pier in Hilo while standing in the snow.
Fabulous views, I wondered seeing the snow up there, it must be cold enough for frost to form on the windshield of cars if left for any length of time, scientists must have to remember to take de-icer with them.
Interesting to see the telescopes and such a clear view. 😀

My wife and I are coming to the big island in April, do you need a 4x4 to get where you’re at here? And do you need to make reservations or anything? We want to come and stargaze here.
Yes, you need a 4wd to get to the summit. No reservations needed if you go on your own.
@@ApauHawaiiTours I know we have a basic rent a car just cause they are so expensive but we might upgrade to get up there
