I just picked one up while I was out of town down in Louisville at Hobbytown. If anyone here is from Louisville, absolutely go check the store out. It's a younger husband and wife that are the nicest people ever.
I wanted a copper one, but being these are so impossible to find right now being on national backorder, they had one in silver... HOWEVER, it's not just a plain silver. Oh no, it's a drop dead gorgeous dark silver/grey and personally I think it's the best looking one out of all of them. If you're looking at a TRX4, absolutely get the high trail. The lift kit for the blazer or any standard TRX4 is 150$ itself, the K10 High Trail is 50$ more than the standard TRX4. It's so well worth it. This thing absolutely rips and they just came out with some super pro light kit that has hazards, real working turn signals, high and low beam, brake lights and working reverse lights. It's pretty sick.
AMain is my go to if my local stores don't have what I need in stock. They stock so much and ship ridiculously fast.

There is now as of April 2023 a Ford F150 high lift TRX 4 which comes in 2 colours, a beautiful metallic blue and wait for it drum roll please a BEAUTIFUL metallic brown which really looks very similar to Lee Majors FALL GUY truck although I seem to remember the Fall Guy drove a Chevy. Anyhow I'm buying the metallic brown F150 high lift almost saved enough for it. Just got to put an orderdoen on it.💪

This is my favorite trx4 to date. I have the black body and it Looks so clean. Love the older square Chevy trucks. I just finished putting all my treal black brass (about $500 worth🤦♂️😋) and it now performs so much better. Did reefs raw 500 (operation Charlie edition) and mamba x w/ slate motor and full light kit. With that lift kit had to do the rock lights also to show off those rims! I only need to find replica polished 2.2 aluminum wheels and my truck will be tricked out and ready for some fun… or maybe a nice spot in the shelf. 😁
This is what I am saving up for next. As soon as they are in my local hobby shop ( literally a 2-hour drive ) I will have it!
They are on national backorder so if you find one buy it. I picked mine up on a 3 hour road trip out of state because my local stores had none. And I couldn't be happier.

I bought one at a local shop in red. Girlfriend liked it so much I just bought another last night from AMain. Already added the Pro Scale Light Kit to mine...I may end up doing that to hers too. Nice TRX4 addition to my K5 TRX4.
I'm about to order the red and the black because I know If I just get one she will steal it from me. lol. It's a sick-looking rig. Planning ahead.

I just got mine about a month ago the body is already trashed! I love it though. Ive been doing some modding and this truck is just amazing.
That is a cool truck, can't deny that...I build pretty much same truck with my blazer, but that red and the pick up body looks awesome....may have to get one....

My trx4 to date has been the best truck. 1 or 2 batteries almost every day 1.5 years. 2 speed is outstanding. Enjoy the bodys traxxas offers. Should had bought this truck 3 years sooner. Kept it low cost original brushed. Took it thru a creek one time and the esc smoked and it burned out the servo. Dont submerse this truck with stock esc. Very few broken parts. This truck is driven in snow and rain days.

I ordered mine from AMain. Looks red but says that it's copper. I'm fixing that issue and I bought a spare body to make a real copper body! :)

Hi do you know what light kits goes in this k10 I want headlights with blinkers and all
I can't believe your wheel caps didn't fall off ! Mine fell off just taking it out of the box ! I had to apply poster putty to the back of them to keep them on. Pretty much every video I've seen posted of these trucks, I see the caps are missing but nobody mentions it.
Interesting, didn't know that. We didn't have any issues with the caps falling off.

to correct one thing, the cross rc EMO AT4's have the dif lock switch as well
Do they have the 2 speed trans and the diff locks? I haven't seen much on them.

There aren't really many option parts or accessories for that vehicle. The biggest things to update would be the servo mainly, and then tires but the stock Sledgehammer tires are pretty awesome. You could also upgrade the motor and ESC to a Castle Creations system, maybe 8S? Small correction: there is at least another rig with remote locking differentials, the Rebelrc Rebelcon. 😉 That is a good bang for the buck. I'd love to see a review here on the channel! Any chance we get that?
The Rebelcon is not as refined as the TRX4. The TRX$ is a beast that can be bashed harder than any other crawler. I take it to the skate park and jump it. If I did that with my Rebelcon it would be recked. Performance crawling they are both great. The Rebelcon has the advantage of a lower center of gravity. Even so, I prefer my 40mph TRX4 lol
what scale??
The cab part of the truck just doesn't look too scale it looks small compared to my real truck also the tires they should have stuck with one point nine just too much body rub what was they thinking about,, I put 1.9 back on mine.
Why did traxxas paint the windows. The designer from axial said painting windows on the base camp was a mistake when he interviewed on scale builders guild. Maybe traxxas should had learned from the axial error.

I'm about to order two of these from Amain. Are there any bead locks and 2.2 tires and steering servo you would recommend to go with these?

Anyone know if this clipless body will clip onto the 2021 Bronco chasis?
Nope, they are two very different sizes. 21 Bronco is listed as 324mm wheelbase and the 79 K10 is listed at a longer 336mm. Since they are both built on the TRX4 chassis, it's probably possible to change out some parts to modify the wheelbase, but it's not going to be just an easy swap back and forth body change.
Which color looks better to you red or black.
I like the red best and think it's the best contrast for when other accessories are added to the truck. Black tends to drowned out those details, but the upside of that black-out stealth look. Both colors are equally good options though.

They're all multi-terrain tires, non are made specific for grass but they'll all hook up pretty good on it. I'd just pick your favorite.

How much run time do you get on what battery with these trucks on average driving?

Hoss I have done the HD drive train kit, and am thinking about doing the power train upgrade o my wife's 4wd Rustler

They should have put 1.9 wheels on there and done away with some of the body rub wonder how long it'll be before those decal Chrome Pieces come off suspension didn't work very well all I saw was a lot of bouncing around

Traxxas confuses me with TRX4. They've shoved all these suspension components in there, made it look so nice, and then a brushed motor? Why? Performance wise it isn't far off a walmart special, only the suspension saves it.

Love the video but my god does that body look just wrong or out of proportion
Sadly, not a basher, but oh well.
All crawlers were made for one purpose: slow motion movies, that's all.
Also scale realism, towing capacity, and being able to run over or through stuff that would just flip a basher or racing vehicle.
In the early days, I thought crawlers were pretty lame for how slow and "boring" they seemed. But once I got out on the trail and tried it, its amazing how much the ordinary terrain turns into a challenge. Everything becomes a "I bet I can crawl over that" and then you give a try, then another try, and you make it or maybe you don't. Then you find the next challenge. Before you know it, you've been out walking around for hours. I really love it now, particularly by myself away from the city.

My experience is those tires are just too big they rub the body just way too much.. I'm going 1.9 for the best trail truck for looks I guess what's on there okay... as far as the lift goes they overdid it there it just doesn't need that much lift. Really the only thing it would be good for is running like a mud truck it's definitely not a rock climber and not very good at Trail riding unless you stay on the level ground.. and it's definitely overpriced
