Hey, thanks very much. Great to hear.
We've nearly the same mouthpieces as the euphonium players, so for this part you don't have to adapt to something new. Your main challenge will be the change from valves to the slide. Therefore, I'd recommend to focus on the intonation first.
Will you be taking trombone lessons? Your teacher will surely be helping you with this.
