If you want smaller government, then get rid of state government, have one government, federal, you get rid of 50 state rep and house governments, and have 1 federal rep and house government, that shrinks government in the US by about 98.0392%

Let me just say, I'm Scotish, we pay taxes, and we have free health care, free education, to degree standard, free prescriptions, social housing, payments to parents, for each child, till they are 16, state pentions, that means evry person when they retire, gets goverment pention, its not a lot, but better than nothing, free dental care for children under 16, pregnant women, and pentioners, free eye care for the same, and gun laws, that mean no mass shootings since 1996.

Big props for understanding, that at the time America tried to leave Britain, yes, the UK was at war with france, and just about to be at war with spain, and portugal, America was a distraction, the British government was at war with another real nation at the time, with 2 more nations about to be at war with them, America was a colony, and we just couldent waste time on them at the time, you were a burdon, we were conquering india some of africa, the philipines, etc, and had problems in china, Britain was spread thin, take it from me, if this didnt all hit the fan at the same time, you would still be british, and have the head of the queen on your money, not in god we trust, :)

Yeh what the guy is saying, America became the envy of the world, not true, we look at America, from the UK and agree your trying hard to do something good for your people, but a lot gets lost in translation, 250 years ago, some old dudes, did a thing, and thought, in years to come, Americans would be educated enough to understand it, but the facts are plane, most Americans do not understand their own constitution, or what the founding fathers were trying to do, we do not think like them today, and thats the problem, they were on horse back, and had muskets, no TV, no mobile phones, no internet, any American that says they know what the founding fathers ment, when they wrote the constitution, is delusional.
