There isn't, at least it isn't the goal for winning, only touching down with anything but the soles of your feet or leaving the ring is a way to lose. No closed fist hitting. The first one on the left is Hakuho, the most successful Yokozuna of all time, he could take just about anyone, Mongolian warrior. His dad was a champion in Mongolia as well. He is also at 2:25.

Southern Scythe The broad I used to date was the first American lightweight sumo wrestler (320lbs) and almost made Olympic diving team too believe it or not because she dove in high school. Problem was, the coaches didn’t think she looked “good” in the 1 piece swimsuit. She was a fat broad after high school, she had mental issues and used to eat KFC and hella fast food to cheer her up. I met her and tried to “work her out hard” if you know what I mean, but she would want to eat junk food all day and she used to make money filming herself eat on webcam for a bunch of weirdo skinny dudes in trailer parks. I had to leave her in 2018 because she passed away, they said her heart was the same size as a captive African elephant who eats all day and shits about 200lbs a day. They had to incinerate her at the zoo in the large animal oven because they didn’t want to quarter her up like an elk and burn her piece by piece. RIP Bobby Jo Kelby Trixie (aka Big Mac)

as a big fan of sumo, you cant "punch", strictly. closed fist is not allowed and would result in instant disqualification and probably many more severe punishments. any of these strikes are with the outside of the elbow or shoulder. that said, you can absolutely!! slap monstrously to the face, and many wrestlers have been successful because of their powerful barrage of slapping. another "strike" is forcing the crotch of the hand up under the opponent's chin right into their throat. brutal stuff! bloody noses and black eyes are common enough.
and just as extra context, there are only 2 loss conditions: touch the ring with anything but the soles of your feet, or touch outside the ring with any part of your body. so unless you're trying to knock out and instantly crumple your opponent, you will probably be pushed out or over before a real punch could land. it would be a really useless move according to the rules of sumo
overwhelmingly they do what you said, push and throw. knee striking would never be a useful way to win, even on top of the likelihood that that type of striking would be severely punished.
if you wanna know more, the very 1st guy in this video is Hakuho, he is the greatest of all time, and more successful in sumo than most modern athletes in their own respective sports. he's one of the most dominant athletes of sports history, and is still active (he won the most recent tournament with 15 wins and 0 losses).

Knockouts in sumo frequently occur using kachi-age (搗ち上げ), a technique where the wrestler folds his arms and rushes forward at the tachi-ai to hit his opponent's chest or chin to make his posture upright, as shown in the first clip, with Hakuhō vs. Myōgiryū.

I like the idea of only allowing open palm strikes, they don’t wanna see all that blood, but it’s such a forward pressure and aggressive sport that there’s going to be constant contact, really cool and aggressive sport

A hook on the jaw , elbow on the jaw. Not surprising these guy are going to be KO'ed when actions like that are part of the fight.

Interesting Fact: Many Pro Sumo Fighters suffer from complications of Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBIs) due to repetitive heel-palm strikes, forearm/elbow strikes and body slams to the head during training & during bouts. Also, many Sumo hold rank in Judo and formerly competed in Judo before Sumo.
