Over 30 years ago my grandparents used to take me vegan restaurants that would blow people's mind. A spread full of leafy vegetables, roots, etc. Korea had a strong Buddhist community at one point, and as a result finding vegan restaurants were common. In fact, it used to be considered gross to have so much meat that's common nowadays in kbbq places. Those places are mostly gone these days. Would love to find a similar restaurant in Seoul or Busan my next trip

Gaekknip is what made me first interested in korean food tbh (that & kimchi obvs) so delicious I could eat it by itself 😂😂 I love that unique herby flavor paired with meat & ssamjang HEAVEN

We just went there 2 days ago and ooooh my the Kimchi Pajeon. 😍❤️ Also tried the expensive vegan Sanchon in Seoul. Experience cool. Food I agree to your review. Would try it out if you have time and money hahah
