The Burrawon Branch railcar enters Tarawangan yard before crossing onto the down main where it pauses for passengers to board. Once the home signal is off the railcar heads down the main to the next station.
Nice layout mate, I can see Tarana and Wang in that station name and it resembles Tarana with those double slips going into the yard. Is it based on any particular place or just a coincident?
Thanks Neale. The track layout for the junction is inspired by Tarana and, as you note, especially the slips into the yard. The terminus track layout is similar to those of Oberon (reversed and flipped), Nimmitabel (when it was the terminus of the eventual Bombala line) and other NSWGR termini but no particular place. Doing this allowed me to incorporate prototype practice into the space available and to make suitable lineside structures - usually from prototype photos. Cheers
awesome model and love the realistic speeds and operation!
Glad you enjoyed it
Wonderful
