In Italy, stadiums are old because we have burocracy problems, it takes months if not years to get permission to build one
And in most cases the permission can't even be obtained...
@@dandofootball2528 well it depends on where you want to build it
yep but who give a shit ... this stadiums are ok for my standards ... I remember the old stadiums where there were only standing place and no covers ... maybe now they want only photogenic stadiums for tv
Government is always the worse
Aught, takes years, but 100 ?
Love the tower on the Bologna stadium
🔴🔵
0:12 such a beautiful naturalistic scenario, lovely hills/mountains behind the stadium, light blue sky, and a lot of threes...lovely

Beautiful classic Italian stadiums. I like the Salernitana stadium ✌🏼

Thanks bro! Come to visit us! ♥️
@@salernum6739 hopefully one day
The Picco has a great scenary, small but a nice stadium. I also like Atalanta's and Juventus'. Hope also Lazio gets a proper stadium.
If lazio gets a stadium so does roma
The atmosphere in Napoli and roma stadium when they scored a goal was brutal
But Roma's stadium also belong to Lazio
That's true
@@fabriciocostaa tbh...lazio fans is not really hardcore but rome fans have a crazy viking that make the stadium shake ...
yeah until our president didn't kill ultras it was amazing
@@Gigi_Peco you're right
San Siro is my favorite & I really like Udinese stadium grass
Napoli's stadium is my favorite and juventus stadium its nice too
San Siro "la scala del calcio"

When you publish La Liga 2022/23 stadiums?
Damn, Fiorentina needs renovations, bad. If not a new stadium altogether.
They re doing it , it will finish in 2024 if i m not wrong
yes, it's a poor stadium for the quantity of supporters they have.
Yeah, fiorentina Will have a new stadium in 2024
I agree.

I saw San Siro's capacity was nearly 85,000
It's reduced. The total available capacity is 80.000
Its Reduced because of Safety Concerns but the Milan Clubs are pushing ahead with a new Stadium

Too old, belonging to another era, not owned but rented from the council, not functional, few quality services offered, not properly connected by public transport, I can go on and on
Juventus and very few others are the exception.
Italy is the only country where If someone has progressive ideas,(eg building a new stadium owned by the team) they get slammed by committees, politicians and whatnot trying to let things stay as they are
never too old! Very few new stadiums have the character that these ones do. There are some great stadiums here in my opinion, I prefer the old ones.
yea and that’s so sad… for us fans of football
The question is whether it is a really necessary? Why waste the money build the new stadium when you already have one? You should spend more for facility centre and youth development, that what Italy need right now.
@@kairadaud2298 wrong we also need new stadiums because the clubs dont get a lot of money of it , and with all shit the fans start to not come anymore
@@PioliDimettiti01 are clubs allowed to buy the stadiums from the state? Or at least ask the state to renovate? Like you can remove the running track and put the new one colour layer according to your club jersey color, and change the bucket seat, paint back your stadium and installing a new roof. You saving a lot of money rather than build a new stadium. And the balance of money you can spend on youth player development and your club facility centre.
I really love watching serie to see the investors there but the league suffer is very sad
For a top tier league, it's overall disappointing. Juve's stadium is easily the best. Udinese's is pretty decent also. Roma's and Napoli's stadium's would be much better if they didn't have a running track around the pitch.
Roma? What is Roma?, Ah, you mean Lazio's.

San Siro is the best stadium by far in Italy. Iconic
In truth, the capacity of the via del mare is 40,670
34000
The years given are just a little deceptive, due the extensive remodelling over the years. Fiorentina's stadium bears much more resemblance to its original form than, say, San Siro. I love those traditional Italian stadiums. That heritage ought to be celebrated, in my view.
Allianz Stadium❤️😍🔥 #forzaJuventus
udine is a good one
I love the Bologna stadium and that Atalanta has kept some of that old architecture on the outside. I love the Squadrismo era architecture and the sports facilities they built during that time period.
edit: I really like the first one Spezia and speaking of fascist era architecture Stadio Artemio Franchi is great also Roma/Lazio's, Torino's is wonderful of course and the San Siro. The Italian stadiums seem to be improving nicely. Not too long ago they seemed dated and run down. Hellas Verona could do with a new one and Napoli's need to be improved, Lecce's is not good and Empoli's is poor but the rest are great.
Napoli stadium had old and dirty red seats, and also the racecourse was red, it was upgraded in 2019 for the "universiadi"
@@Gigi_Peco I see, thank you. I know the Napoli supporters and ultras can be great and create great atmosphere but the stadium itself should be better for such a club as Napoli.
@@neilwhitaker6284 yeah sadly our president only cares about his money, he nearly didn't renew Mertens contract..

Some lovely stadiums but why are the capacities much lower than, say, the premier league? Is attending a match seen as less important in general?

there are already more and more ownership stadiums. Stadium of Udine, Atalanta, Juventus, Frosinone, Sassuolo, and others
I support Lecce I want to go to away games next season I like the look of spezia Napoli salerintana San siro any recommendations?
I have only ever been to San Siro but Napoli's looks like you are too far away from the pitch. I agree Spezia looks beautiful and the city appears to be pretty as well. That would be good. Bologna and Fiorintina are historical stadiums and cities. Torino and Sampdoria's look great to watch a match.
@@neilwhitaker6284 I heard that about Napoli ground to I live part time in Italy we live 30 miles away from Lecce so we started going early 2019 I have been following them ever since . Bologna is one I want to try as well and explore the city's also when I am there Turin looks nice to
@@twif90 I thought you were not Italian and living there! I spent a couple of weeks in Milan (went to the San Siro AC vs Barca!) and travelled down to Tuscany spring of 2006 or around then. I loved Italy! Still think about it to this day. I hope you enjoy your time there and get to watch some matches. I suspect any matches will be a great experience. Don't know anything about Lecce I will try to keep an eye on their results now.

In general, the stadiums in Italy are a bit old fashioned. I only like Juventus stadium.
it's the only "modern" one, Juventus created it inspiring to the premier league stadiums
