    Does it overheat much on idle? I have Lelit Elizabeth but quality issues are putting me off Lelit. I really want rotary pump machine and need as small machine as possible. I do not use any fancy Elizabeth features besides preinfusion. Will this change to Aria be downgrade from Elizabeth?

    Would you guys recommend adjusting the pressure on this machine to 9Bars ?
    Just bought this machine , seems very powerful.

    some temperature measuring at the brew head and in the portafilter would be nice. if the the temp is really the one the pid is showing and how sluggish it is etc pp

    It is really a very nice macchina! I have one question: I'm used to use a timer/smart plug socket to start my machine (also by smartphone). Can you tell me whether the power button is more like "touch" or like "press", what means that I can press it when machine does not have power from plug socket and when the plug socket is being activated, the machine will get power, since button was already pressed.

    Hello, thank you, this machine is very interesting. But for those who already own a machine with an E61 group, can the flow control system be bought separately and can it be mounted on all E61 groups (like the one from ECM for example) ? and where buy it ?

    • @TheEspressoTV
      @TheEspressoTV  Před rokem +1

    Bazzera Aria is more compared with Profitec 400 in terms of size and quality parts. Which of them is more silent in terms of noisy ? I know that Aria has rotary pump but as i understood also Profitec use the most silent vibration pump on the market. Can you make a real test between them ? Thx !

    • @TheEspressoTV

      Only the Bezzera Aria Classic is comparable to the Pro400. Pro400has in addition a possible 3 different temperature levels due to the NTC Sensor at the machine bottom.

    Hello, I am in dilemma on getting either Profitec 600 or Bezzera Aria. Which would you recommend and why? Looking from the specs itself, the aria seems to have the upper hand with the rotary pump, but I believe that it is not the only decision maker. Any other thoughts? Thanks

    • @TheEspressoTV
      @TheEspressoTV  Před rokem +1

      One is a heat exchanger, the other one (pro600) is a dual boiler. I personally prefer always rotary pumps, so if i were you i would choose acc to design and personal intuition. Difficult decision. This is why i choose by intuition. Both make excellent coffee. Also important: use water with low calcium, do not decalcify yourself

    • @gavinchrisaputra352
      @gavinchrisaputra352 Před rokem

      @@TheEspressoTV thanks for your thoughts. If rotary pump is one of the checklist, then bezzera aria is the choice to made then. I totally agree with you that it is so hard to choose between this 2 machine, as they both look very similar in terms of performance and design wise, unless of the pump for sure.

    • @mtpastor4546
      @mtpastor4546 Před rokem +2

      I believe a rotary pump is significant. In domestic setting, the difference between heat exchanger and double boiler is not much (I assume you ONLY pull few shots at a time), both machines provide excellent consistency. However the price difference between HX machine and DB machine, would allow you to invest a good grinder.
      For me, grinder is more essential for good espresso.
      That’s why if I were you, I will definitely go for Bezzera Aria.

      @@gavinchrisaputra352 I tried Eureka Specialita before, it is a quiet, consistent, fluffy grinder. I feel it is the best within its price range. The only downside is it cannot interchange the burrs like SSP. However, do we really nice SSP? For me not necessary.

    • @TheEspressoTV

      No equal distribution of the coffees powder before tamping and maybe not enough coffee

    • @Elfin4
      @Elfin4 Před rokem

      @@TheEspressoTV Thanks for the feedback. Im using between 11grams and 14grams of ground coffee, even distribution and well tamped. Ive had mixed results from very watery extract with 11 grams in the single dose basket rated at 10grams. Im beginning to think if its the gasket on the head needs bedding in as its a new machine. Other than that the only thing I can think of is possibly the portafilter not letting the basket snap in far enough down as there is a small gap around the basket and top of portafilter. Going to try and get more pressure on the portafilter when inserting to try and get a better seal. How would you suggest using the flow control to get more crema?

      @@TheEspressoTV came back from service. Water sensor in the boiler had the teflon cover broken they say and now is fixed.
      But ovp was set wrongly and the tray was filling with water extremely fast. Pump is at 10 bar, I will lower it.
      And finally when home the flow control got stuck and so I found out why it was turning so little:
      The screw with the whole for the flow needle was not properly screwed in, actually it came out! Now with it fully screwed in I can turn the flow control 1 and 3/4 turns, maybe a bit more.
      By the way the screw tap in the drain is impossible to unscrew! ( the dealer had another without the screw in, as delivered from Bezzera)
      So if anyone is planning to plumb it in… make sure you check that.
      I wonder how reliable will this machine be. I can only hope that was the end of the problems with it, but between Bezzera who claims they check every machine, and the dealer who says it does the same with all the machines I still ended up with a problematic unit.
      Did the quality control guy retired and is enjoying the pension years or what?!
      Since there is a new rotary “on the streets” I guess we should see a pro500 with one.

      What a story. Up to now i never saw a manufacturer without producing machines without mistakes. But stil the dealer can improve his maintenance dpt. setting the rotary pump at 10 bar is a no go. The flow control i mainly use in a small range between 3 bar any 9 bar. Ciaoo Markus

    I own a Profitec Pro 600. After using the mechanical flow control that came with the machine pre-installed for a few weeks, I reinstalled the original valve and installed an SCR (thyristor) motor speed control electronic board to control the vibratory pump. It now works a 200 percent better than the antiquated profile valve. Why do most espresso machine manufacturers still pushing this expensive part other than to inflate the cost of their machines, God only knows. It cost me less than $50 for parts. This will work on all espresso machine regardless of type water pump is used. Note: Make sure to install a Thyristor board with a trim-pot (blue) to set the lowest pressure at 2-3 BARS for pre-infusion.

      Sehe ich auch so. Mehrere Umdrehungen sind unübersichtlich und es ist immer ein bisschen „Blindflug“. Die halbe oder dreiviertel Umdrehung bei Lelit gefällt mir da auch viel besser. So kann man sich viel besser merken, bei welcher Stellung ungefähr welcher flow bzw. Druck anliegt.
