      Apples to oranges. If you put all the parts the V-Strom has by default on the Transalp the difference will be like 10 kg. Also note the tank on the Transalp is less, so there go another 5 kg. At the end you get better suspension, better road clearance and better looks for a little bit of extra weight. I’m fine with that.

    I wonder if it has cruise control? Can't seem to find that on searches?
    Thank God, they put the air filter under the seat! Lets hope it not a paper filter. If I drown it, I don't want to sit around waiting for it to dry.

    If people still wandering about what is called Vstrom, they havent seen the Vstrom sx 250 (single cylinder). The Vstrom name is too powerfull.

    The front end looks better than the previous one but still isn't great. The colours are simply bad and (I guess) tubed tyres are a dealbreaker. Sorry, Suzuki. I thought it might be my next bike

    The all-new Beak-Strom. We need a company to specialize in beak removal for people who buy otherwise excellent bikes that were unfortunately born with a beak. It's a sad phenomenon indeed, and it's happening all too often these days.

      @@vanbrudenrijden5932 I've heard of Chris Birch, however what does it has to do with travelling with a pillion and luggage? When I want to do tricks, I grab my MX bike and go to the track. When I'm riding with a passenger around Europe, I ride like a noob yes, because I want to get us home in one piece.

      @@nestserau it has to do with the capability of the bike. A capability that most riders will never be able to fully utilize yet is there. Compare that video to the Desert X, Africa Twin, KTM, Norden, its lame.

    • @nestserau
      @nestserau Před rokem

      @@vanbrudenrijden5932 Those videos are marketing rubbish. It's not a rally bike, it will never be and luckily it's not even positioned as one. Suzuki is one of the most honest brands out there. Many others are selling some racing kind of emotion, but experienced riders know, that to race and win offroad you need an MX bike which weighs 100 kg, and not a 200+ kg behemoth. For travelling a different bike is needed. Suzuki has made a travelling bike, not an overweight rally bike with jelly suspension like T7, which won't stand a chance against any competition vehicle anyhow.
