I loved her as Yzma and soon realized afterwards how much work she had already done. The more I watched and listened to her I was blown away by this incredible woman.
The others were okay, but Eartha Kitt was definitely the BEST Catwoman.
I just said that in a previous post. Surprisingly, even Hallie Berry missed the mark. True sexiness go well below skin deep.

I first became aware of ms Kitt in Batman. (I still think she was the best Catwoman, with Julie Newmar being number 2) I read everything i could find about her listened to her music and just loved her as a special person, actress and singer. God bless her

When she said she wasn't accepted bc of her light skin I cried. Every culture has their fears I guess. I wasn't supposed to be here either. My father was supposed to marry another woman of the tribe but he chose an Irish woman. Since then, me being the 1st born, I have suffered the pains & discord bc I wasn't what they wanted. The others however, get all the royalties & love.

It’s sad on how in the 30s people were more racist and it was so bad that she was beaten until she bled just because she was mixed race. Without a doubt though she overcame that and became such a legend. I used to be obsessed with her back in the day and she became an inspiration for me. I used one of her quotes as my senior quote a few years back too. I also follow Kitt Shapiro and it is great to see her always post about her mother.

I agree with all the comments saying Eartha Kitt was a great and legendary woman.
After viewing this video and then viewing the comments, I yet again understand the current belief system of the modern woman. Am I the only one who's seen this who can see the utter pain in her eyes? This woman needed therapy so badly. As an artist of color myself, I thank her for all her contributions in the arts and breaking down doors that enabled individuals such as myself too work in the trade they love but yet and still, I'm not blind and can tell when someone is truly delusional. If back then someone did tell her she needed therapy, by her reactions in this video I imagine she probably would have cursed them out. What's scary is how reminiscent this is of so many women today. I'm pretty confident that my comment will be followed with vitriol from the modern masses but one day...one day....when your a lot older and gravity and father time have placed a hold on you, you'll remember this conversation from way back when...I promise you.
