Nigeria doesn’t fall behind producing legendary musicians.
Now I see where my ancestors got the blues from. This is beautiful.
Absolutely .. love it
It's not just blues, rap, and hip hop as well. You've just added your American touch to it, but in its soul, it is deeply rooted African artwork.
First thing came to mind when I listened to this. Love my roots ! From Africa, to the Caribbean, Then America..
I was thinking quite the same thing. There is exactly that blues feel in this song. The voice, the guitar and the harmonica
Ain't no denying it.!
a minute of silence for those who didn't discover this masterpiece yet.

I just did 😭
Goodnight. I Saw M Traoré this night in concert near Orléans in France... With Bucher and his Harmonica... My spirit was in Africa or in France but in the Sky, with my died parents, ... I was like the string of a violin vibrating under the bow... It was Amazing. Thanks a lot M Traoré and good Luck on the road ... for a lot of years again again...
Mali is definitively one of the World's capitals of music. Majestic.

Well said
Admiring this legend and his timeless music, sending love from India.
Far too few people outside of Africa get to hear the music of Boubacar Traore in their daily lives, why should this be? He's clearly a musician/song writer of the highest order and deserves a huge worldwide audience.
Everything comes from Africa. That tells everything, music, civilization, etc.
Guinée, Mali, Burkina, Gambie, Libéria, Sierra Leone, Sénégal. (EMPIRE MANDINGUE)
Mali has one of greatests music jams in all of Africa and the World.
Beautiful blues, and an incredible harmonica break. Anyone who loves Mississippi Delta Blues, this is the roots.
Well said!! 😇🥳💚🎶
Blues music was influenced by West African music passed down by enslaved people from West Africa, as well as European-style folk music passed down by European immigrants to the U.S. The harmonica was invented in Germany as a piano tuner and it reached the U.S. via German immigrants. Little Walter was a famous Black musician who revolutionized its use in Blues music. It’s funny how an African American contributed to the modern music of his ancestral homeland.
He was influenced by delta blues and that’s why the music sounds, like it sounds.
Who is the harmonica player?😮😮❤😮❤😮❤😮❤

The roots of American Blues.
This is definitely influenced by American blues.
This type of music is older than American blues
Blues was born in Africa for sure!
That's true
In Mali. There's a documentary movie from Martin Scorcese called from Mali to Mississipi. That will teach you where Blues comes from.
Nah, it was born in her children
Almost certainly not true.
It's TRUE. Most music the western world listen today came from africa.
Blues is African! Another gift we will not have recognized to Africans. Africa robbed, Africa exploited, Africa abandoned, Africa unjustly recognized, my heart is with you! A French woman in Germany
Lovely and nice said...

Still performing at 81, he fills the room with his voice, spirit and energy. We love you Boubacar! 🙏

Ireland is an awesome country too, and it has a history quite similar to Africa’s in many ways. The British invaded and destroyed your guys’ ancient Celtic culture and language. It is a damn shame.

The Blues’ journey from Africa to America is well documented. Back in the late ‘90s Martin Scorsese dedicated the
complete first episode of his documentary, The Blues, to its African roots. Corey Harris, a modern African American
blues man, narrated. It was eye and ear opening to hear the sounds of traditional African music in relation to what we
call The Blues. It IS The Blues, was, and ever shall be.

Much love from the American South. West Africa is where the blues are from!
That African blues, man. Grew up on BB KING my whole childhood. This is great to hear❤❤❤. Has that same feel.
Blues was born from the Mandingo people in west Africa and brought to America by the mandingos slave, it was the most favorable song for MANSA-MUSA, the greatest mandingo's king and one of the reaches man ever. Love from USA and Liberia🇺🇸🇺🇸🇱🇷🇱🇷🇱🇷
From that same concept reggae was also created by the Maroons in Jamaica. The english outlawed and feared the drums and tribal music.
All roots are african and popular music from today owes alot to african and middel eastern culture (the first cultures).

Serious blues. So beautiful. Much respect to you. The European cut us off from our homeland and our people. Most of us do not know our country of origin, native tongue or religion. But our music still keeps us connected, even after 400 years. This is the true power of blues, R&B, Jazz, and Rap.
Respect! I don't understand no need, i can feel, blood is blood its red and flows through us all black white asian
I agree with most of what you said, but I'm European and I didn't cut you off from anything. Please don't insinuate such things. Bless
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Well most people in Africa don’t even speak their native tongue anymore either. For example, the major language in Mali where this music is from is French.
