Playlist:
Ruby by Ali and Toumani
Paradise by Vieux Farka Touré
Kita Kaira by Toumani Diabaté
Claudia & Salma by Toumani Diabaté and Sidiki Diabaté
Kora Bali by Toumani Diabaté
Kothbiro by Ayub Ogada - Zábava
I just love my continent, this is one of the best kora music that melts me away....I looove it
Shout out to you if you have done the Acatenango hike and saw Fuego erupt red fire in the night sky! One of the most amazing things of my life.
Paring this amazing view to this peaceful music from my motherland of Mali is bringing tears to my eyes!! Peace and Love😇
We hear you on this! We're also volcano climbers, long working and living in southern Africa for whom the gift of music from Mali is a household priority for peace and blessings. 💖
I love Mali 🇲🇱♥️
That such peaceful music survives from pre European colonization is wonderful. I first came across the variety of tribal dances of west Africa on my travels some 20 plus years ago. The Kora music is I am told very much the preserve of a small group which has passed the skills though the generations. In Ethiopia I was presented with what appears to be an ancient harp like instrument with two horns which sit in the drum skin stretched across a wooden bowl. I also saw the remains of ancient buildings in Ethiopia. I did not see such remains in West Africa. Such contrasts across a conyinent.
Fantastic Kora music from West-Africa! Love it, thank you ❤️

La musique est belle et envoutante
Great sounds
Wonderful music
❤❤❤❤❤❤
Mali 🇲🇱❤️
I am enjoying this music as I work from home. I am curious about why the background pictures are of Guatemala instead of Mail, where this music originates?
Thanks for enjoying the music. The music and the video are not meant to be synonymous. I use things I have experienced. In this case, where I have been and what I listen to. These are my original videos from climbing the volcano and it fit the sentiments and tune of the music for me. Again thanks for commenting and enjoying the placid music.
❤
Love it.
But please correct the title.
There is music from Kenya inside
👍🏾
Lots of people asking for names of songs so please provide a time stamped playlist. Kindly.
Wonderful
What is the song at 30:30? A mans voice singing the most heavenly prayers
That's the luo nyatiti music from Kenya, the singer is Ayub ogada. Koth biro means the rain is coming. The Nyatiti 8 stringed harp from Kenya and the kora instrument from Mali share a lot in common
Thank you.❤
Amazing 🔥🔥
Glad you like it!
Ancient griot music of Mali
🇬🇳❤🇲🇱
hi please can tell me the name of the song at 1:01.00 thanks for this, a gem.
My favorite begins at 46:15
Don't know which app to use find the title. Somebody help please 🙏🙏
olga
Sounds like actual ancient Egyptian music. I mean the real thing not that middle eastern Hollywood nonsense. Ancient Egyptian tomb musical notes translated into music.
glad you enjoyed it :)

Does anybody know the name of piece that is at 30:10 ?
The sing is "Kothbiro" by Ayub Ogada. The artist is Kenyan and plays an instrument called Nyatiti of the Luo people in Eastern Africa.
A Time stamp would have been useful.... Indeed
