Reminds me of my Dad. I sure do miss my old Man. It’s been a few years since I Lost Him. He was a double lineman. When he wasn’t claiming telephone poles and splicing FiberOptic Cable , He was out in the Deep Blue Sea, SaltWater sport Fishing for Big Eye Blue & Yellow fin tuna. He knew practically every knot. A Noose & the Band Slipknot were the only two knots He never knew. Maybe the noose, but never saw him do that one. That was my only known knot besides square and truckers. He was a champion knot tier and braiding specialist. And an Awesome phone man & fisherman and above All that and then some, An Excellent, Loving Father. It’s been the grey chapter ever since.
Reminds me of my childhood 😮 There was a man who sells colorfull ropes and teaching kids how to knot it beautifully in front of my school. All kids in my school has at least one and they wear it everywhere as bracelets and keychains, with their own unique colors and patterns. Good times 😊

I grew up in the 80s and 90s, making this type of stuff. Every kid that i knew used to know how to make this. We also used to make them from the electronic wires with all the different color. One of my older brothers used to make some crazy ones that i never learned how to But now this is a lost art for children.
