Where did you get that map? How it put the pattern of the region was extremely informative.

Hi very helpful I wish I've seen this video before, I bought a persian rug I been told it is an authentic one after a week I noticed a lot of lint comming off that sticks to my feet I went back to the shop and been told that they forgot to tell me that is actually normal until the first wash but they forgot to tell me before. Can this be true?

Wonderful Video, Thank you! But, It's Kashan (a town in the north of Isfahan province). I wonder why so many people call that Keshan.

Thanks for your comment! For some reason in rugs it is called both Kashan & Keshan. We're not sure why this is🙂

Is it possible to get a Persian rug for about $2,500 US dollars?

Oh 100%. You can get a Persian rug for that price from pretty much any vendor, and from the reasonably priced ones you'll be able to select from any region you choose. Not the most expensive rugs in the world, of course, but you can get some very decently sized carpets at that price with designs that you'll like.
The only thing that will be out of reach will be the most intricate / high knot density designs, as well as larger rugs which incorporate silk (e.g. Isfahan / Qom pure silk)

No madam you are dead wrong about fringes. Most of Gabe rugs from Shiraz don't have any fringe
