I wanted Chris Long on my Patriots team for years from the moment he got drafted and then he finally went there and we got to play in the greatest Super Bowl ever and now he does my favorite podcast. Chris, you are the man I hope we get to meet in Vegas someday.

Will Anderson the defensive ROY. He was top 3 in the league in pass rush win rate. No rookies are even close. He had 7 sacks and played very hurt the last 6 weeks. He played 12 snaps in week 17 and had 6 pressures, 2 sacks and 8 pass rush wins. By far the highest win percentage by any player this season including Watt, Bosa's and Garrett.
With Miami, the good teams knew they were having to scheme the entire offense around the o line not being able to pass block very well and a run game that was reliant on running outside and couldn’t really run straight down hill. So good teams knew that they just had to make sure they didn’t beat them deep, and find different ways to shut down the outside runs. It didn’t matter what Miami wanted to do if the other team had the right personnel and scheme to unmask the deficiencies that o line had. Specifically the interior of the o line. If the interior of your offense line is bad, you won’t have any lanes for your qb to escape through or a pocket to step up in, because it will be in your lap. And it kills any power run game when the interior o line struggles. Good teams knew that. It was on film. The only game Miami had all 5 starting o linemen in the same game, was the 70-20 game against Denver.

I’m not even a dolphins fan and all the hate is starting to annoy me. Feels like Chris judges Miami on a harsher scale than every other team. I actually agree with some of what he says about them but damn talk about beating a dead horse. Still love the pod!
