Highly recommend using big zip ties to hold the grill on. Cheap and easy to route. If you need to take it off a pair of angle cutters and it pulls right off.

Nicely done, Aaron! Also, remind them not to touch the bulbs for safety. Good reminder that grommets and clips are brittle that's why you have to be careful in removing them.

Seriously? I damn near bent my fender because you makes no mention of the 10 mm bolt that attaches the fender to the side of the headlight mount. There is a total of four screws holding the headlight in, not 3, and the one attaching to the fender is a complete PITA to get to.

    Nice video Aaron,
Fairly disappointed learning about those push pins which attach the trim to headlight. Called Nissan where they told me the pins are sold only with the trim. So to add salt to the wound, the trim will need to be painted to match the trucks color. WTFFFFrek is that all about! Anyone out there with better luck than me, let me know.

You didn't show the part I needed, removing the plastic clip from the grill to the headlight assembly. For anyone who wants to know, you reach in with a screwdriver and pry towards the outside of the vehicle to remove them.

Great video, but I would add one thing that I ran into. When attempting to remove the bottom body colored trim piece on the headlight assembly, be very careful. I have a 2006 Titan, and when I went to remove this piece to attach to the new headlight assembly, it had become extremely brittle. The slightest pressure to remove it will make the connection points completely break apart. My Wife suggested I use a little WD-40. That did do the trick, but I am still going to need to order these two pieces immediately. I pay for a pass at the local car wash, and I am worried that the pressure from the water or air dryer may blow these pieces clean off. So BEWARE. I removed my first piece like he did in this video, but the second piece, I removed as a whole piece without sliding it off the clips first. I used a "L" shaped pick, and a thin flat head screwdriver. It is too hard to explain how to do it, but it did come off in about the same amount of time without as much damage.

  • @southernsasquatchsearcher

👎I thought my headlight was just getting hung up on something when I was attempting to remove it because I was certain I did everything correctly, but you didn't mention anything about the 10mm 4th bolt securing the headlight to the fender. Thanks for helping me break more stuff on my truck.
....and I see I'm not the only one who's mentioned this in the comments yet you have made no effort to update the video. It really sucks that you're making money off this. You can bet I'll never watch another one of your videos again.

  • @alouiciousjackson5812

The reason your bottom Clips were broken off is because they're nearly impossible to get to. I had to use a plastic crowbar and pry the grill up as far as possible and then I could just barely get to them.

This is by far one of the worst videos I have seen from you. Hate to break it to you, but watching this video before taking on this task does not make it any easier. You have to struggle with the wiring harness, and the bolts holding it in place and you entirely miss one of the bolts, a 10mm on the side holding it to the bumper. The part you have in the description is NOT IDENTICAL. it does fit but it takes a fair amount of struggle to make the trim clips, speed nuts, and bulbs fit snugly. Your tutorial while not completely garbage misses several of the most important steps for this project, i had a lot more respect for you before I did this project I really wish this video had prepared me more. Thanks but no thanks
