One way I dealt with my autism is start with small steps and joining a group chat online for people with autism. I only did two of those , i felt like i wanted to interact more. Like humans do, so i got the meetup app and went to a meet up event just for us with autism. It was amazing. We all shared what bother us , about ourselves, and everyone share on how i can help myself.
Let's not keep everything deep in our hearts, we can't live like that. If we really want to add meaning to our life's and we can't do it ourselves, then we ask for help.
Asking for help is not a sign of weakness. To me it's a sign that we want to use everything and everyone to help us get to where we can to be.
      Just to feel human again.

I also have autism and there is so much I can relate to what you said. I barely have friends, feel like a misfit and feel like I don’t belong anywhere. Music like Slipknot, Korn and Lorna Shore have helped me to cope myself. I’m constantly afraid what people will think of me when I reveal about my autism. Few friends knows about it and didn’t seem to care if I was autistic or not. I have come to the conclusion that it feels better to get off your chest. I’m trying to improve my social skills but I sometimes fall back to my bad old habits like keeping for myself since the social life can be to much for me. I really want to connected with people but it feels like I can’t. It makes me sad sometimes thinking about what I could have done different. I wish sometimes that I don’t had autism but I realise I’m who I am and it always will be. Lorna Shore’s album have made me feel something completly different that I have never felt before, I’m proud to call them my absolute my favourite band and album.

I tried to do everything for him to try to see something good, but all the problems he was going through didn't let him continue and the only way he found to solve all the pain was to leave life. What hits me the hardest is just how freaking perfect every little thing is. If just one part of either the music, the vocals, the music videos, or the lyrics were off, then this wouldn't hit nearly as hard but because of just how perfect every part fits together it just reaches that much higher and blows everything else out of the water.
I'm not a deathcore fan but Lorna Shore has quickly become one of my favorite bands, because they go beyond what the genre typically gives. Also thank you very much for the kind words and advocacy for mental health you promote. It is valued and appreciated by many. • @mattijohansen3471
    @mattijohansen3471 Před rokem +1

They glide so well together while being very different.
The first one ending on. " Am I just a ghost just like you, caught between the
Seams of two intertwining melodies? "
Leading into the second song, where hope is gone, and he might be alive, but living like a ghost, the second song is the time between melodies.
So the ending of the first song leads to the expressions of the second.
And then to the 3 where it about getting past the empty space between melodies. Where he is no longer a ghost just acting, but the emotions he is feeling is acting through him.
    Pain, anger, everything.
The attempt in the second part was the uncontrolled action, the lack of everything.
While the choice in the 3 was made with an understanding what he felt his life had become.
Ending the trilogy with the words " Dancing like flames, after all that I've done
I'll salt the earth and disappear in a sea of fire "
Dancing like Flames being part 1
All that I've done being part 2
In a Sea of fire being part 3
And the 3 also bind the first part into it again, after the half part of the song, with the sort of breakdown, the melody and flow goes through some of the same waves we heard in the first song- ending with the bells and string actually playing through the same notes, but it start before that leading up to it.
So both the story and the music is brought back together at the end.
Same way life starts and end the same place, in all forms. no matter the start or the end.
You never know where you start.
And when you are at the end, it does not really matter.
It was the choices and feelings between the melodies you experiences along the way that guided you to what ever end you had.
The two things in life that does not matter to you, is the start, and the ending. because you are not there to deal with them or experience them.
Yet it is those two things that mean the most when all is said and done. Because what ever you did with your life, those you loved, and those you hurt is all because your life started.
And your actions in between the melodies is what you will be remembered for.

You try to stack it in neat little boxes and handle it day after day. Always there in the back of your mind eating at you, urging you to give up. The dichotomy of:, "Love died there; love lived on there."
From the harshness of the music/lyrics defining the inner agony, to the unconventional way of finding peace; This trilogy is beyond deep and telling.

I am heartbroken 😢💔 the 3 music videos brought back memories when my mother passed away when I was 6 my father fell into a deep depression in which he never recovered from. He passed away almost 2 years after my mothers death a day before Father’s Day. It was a very difficult time in my life but I’m glad I made it through it but I still miss them very dearly

This is one of the first songs I heard after my wife died December 2022. I broke down and I will probably always shed a tear to this. I feel and went through all of the emotions the man in the video did. the depiction of anger, sadness, and the feeling of no return is so on point.

I have been bawling my eyes out to this record. The way you deal with suicidide and older lyrics. This is no joke. You gotta take this stuff seriously.

I totally agree with you. What Lorna is doing with this Pain Remains trilogy is amazing. As someone that has struggled with dark thoughts similar with what is depected in the videos I can say out loud this is something that many people need to see. Is a way to help people heal, is a way to validate that those emotions are normal and they need to speak up on them and act towards getting help. When i started many years ago my rock journey i started a bit less heavy. For me the band that changed my life was Disturbed. Their music kept me alive in my darkest moments and helped me find my inner power to overcome my suicidal tendencies. So i feel that Lorna Shore is bringing the battle against the human darkness in this genre as Disturbed did since years ago and this is fantastic. In case you want and did not see before, please watch and maybe react to A reason to fight official live video. Is a life changing experience. Bands like Disturbed, Lorna Shore and Jinjer who speak on mental health and suicide are so important.

Mastodon- blood and thunder, More than I could chew, black tongue, had it all, oblivion, and colony of birchmen
Machine head- davidian, be still and know, sail into the black, seasons wither
The sword- dying earth, arrows in the dark, the black river, apocryphon, the hidden master,
Deftones- literally ANY and EVERY song
Unearth- burial lines, cut man, my will be done, grave of opportunity, endless, lots of others.
