Can you think of a Cooking window in Airfryer !!! And when this feature is offered by the No.1 Airfryer brand in India, Philips, then it got to be best. I know a lot of people who wanted to buy a Philips Airfryer but were hesitant due to the high price. Well - Philips was listening! Philips has recently introduced the new affordable range of airfryers in India - the NA231. Pls don't even think of buying any other brand airfryer now - Pigeon, Inalsa, Havells, etc... The rubber stands on the plate inside looks like it might break off.

If you have a small family of 4 or less - go for HD9252. If you have a large family of 5-6 go for HD9270. The only difference is in capacity
May I please know the basic difference between HD & NA series of Philips Air Fryers
HD series is the older series of Airfryers with removable double layer baskets and better ventilation. NA series is the budget range recently launched by Philips. If you want better cooking results, I would recommend go for HD series. I personally prefer the HD series, little expensive but worth every penny. If you are too constraint on budget, then go for NA series.
removable basket has holes, how can we cook groundnut/oinions/corns.. they will go down..
You can simply place a sheet of butter paper at the bottom and place groundnut, corns and onions on the butter paper. Make small holes in the butter paper for the air to pass through... For better results, you might want to buy Philips HD9252. It is easier to do these things in HD9252

Does it's non stick coating contain teflon or is it good for health?
I am not sure if it contains Teflon. I have been using a Philips airfryer for 10 years now - haven't faced any issues...

I would like to know the material in NA 231 is aluminium while in HD series is plastic... Which one is good.... Will it affect the longevity and efficiency of the airfryer
I have used a HD series airfryer for more than 6 years, there is absolutely no issue of longevity. Infact I don't know where do you see the material of Na231 as plastic. Quality of both the series is top notch - performance of HD series is actually better than NA series
Material used in NA231 is aluminium and the HD series material used is plastic... It's written under product details, top highlights,.... material

1. The coating on the metal plate is a non stick coating. Yes it is dish washer safe
2. Only 2 differences vs NA130 - NA231 has a window and is digital, while NA130 is analog
@@HappyPumpkins Thank you, I just found in their website it is mostly coated with PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) coating as per the website.
NA231 vs 9280/90 which is better and why
Hd9280 is better because-
1. HD9280 is a wifi connected model which means you can send recipe settings directly from your phone to the airfryer, track the cooking progress from your phone itself. Na231 does not have the wifi feature
2. Hd9280 is a double basket design which helps in better air circulation therefore faster and better frying. Na 231 has a single basket design.

Which one is better HD9252/90 or this one???
Performance wise HD9252 is better. Just that HD9252 is 4.2L and this one is 6.2L so you get more capacity with this one

The HD series has a removable basket design while NA series has an integrated non removable basket from the tray. Because of the removable basket design in HD series - the air flow in HD series airfryers is better and hence they are able to cook better and faster. That's why HD series is expensive too
Both are good in efficiency. To reduce costs, they have changed the design i.e. instead of a removable basket, it has a removable non stick plate. In terms of air circulation, the design is simple in both and the air flow is pretty much the same. NA 231 has higher wattage, so in terms of performance there is no change. Both are good, you can choose either of them. No worries! Just don't over fry food at very high heat for long periods. That's not good for health. Pls Google and you'll understand why.

I prefer NA231 because it has a see through window and a digital interface. In terms of performance and capacity- both are equal. So if budget is not a constraint - go for NA231
