Nice Funkadelic record! I used to have that one back in the day an OG copy. Cool Brazilian jazz funk pick, Lee Dorsey, and experimental records. Sounds like a good meet up and haul. Cheers

All of Charles Lloyd’s albums from that era are must haves! Especially the 4 with Cecil McBee. Still never been to Rattleback but I’ve been really enjoying Orbit in Elmwood Park.

@@hubtunes9607 I personally find his work as a sideman where it’s at. His solo stuff is really interesting but expensive. His work with Chico Freeman, Charles Lloyd and even Denny Zeitlin is really wonderful. Any session he is part of he leaves Jim’s finger prints on.

Mike...did you have a few pops before this video? Energy is different. Oddly enough I am a VMP member and got a Meters record as a subscriber...and LOVE them. Sounds like a good time. I've never been to Chicago. I'd like to check it out but who knows when. Fun video. Take care.
