I first heard this in “Daffy’s Inn Trouble” as Daffy is lip syncing but the record keeps repeating (Water water water). Also to accompany Chuck Jones’ Pepe Le Pew cartoons as it is associated with France. Hearing this in For Scentimental Reasons gave the mood of the cartoon
