1:12:30 completely agree. I noticed a few times how focused AD (and sometimes Clay) were focused on “black excellence.” It came across as superficial and I gave a side eye every time she brought it up. It was more about them looking good together to them, I felt.

I didn’t watch Season 6 but excited to watch this video! I definitely want to get on board next season. If there will be one. Edit: I don’t think she looks like Megan Fox completely but I see a resemblance in the eyes mouth but not her nose, chin or face shape.

my parents are absolutely not together for reasons of genuine love anymore, but I grew up with the mindset that I would never settle (literally you can just be alone and at peace rather than with someone and suffering), so imagining my partner calling me their ball and chain is so offensive 😂

if you're not on a similar path with the same trajectory then any close relationship won't work, no matter how hard you try. maybe later down the line you'll be more on the same page, maybe not. but dooon't force it even if you love them or think they're your soulmate. maybe they are, but it doesn't matter. leave them or change something significantly 😂
Unfortunately I see similarities to Chelsea & Jimmy in my marriage where my husband isn’t very reactionary and I’m bursting with emotion all the time and I wish he continued to be my rock and bless his heart it’s not his fault a lot of the times but I do feel like we’re incompatible in that way. Unless I sort all my stuff out. But I also need a level of reassurance and emotional support. He doesn’t want to go to therapy so I don’t think we’ll survive the long run … 😞
I’m so sorry, that has to be rough. Have you spoken to him about how you feel? Maybe that little nudge will be enough to get him to think about and work on his own problems. Even if he does or not, work on yourself. Healing and learning how to better yourself will make your life 1,000,000x better even if he isn’t in your life. You got this, girlie, I’m rooting for you. Go forth, discover yourself, and learn to love yourself above all else

Ok she’s similar to Megan Fox in that they’re both bipedal mammals. I’m probably a similar size and a shape to Brad Pitt, and have a similar chemical constitution.
Edit, I don’t think Jimmy is settling. As a small town simpleton (male) myself I don’t think we form a complex set of desirable attributes in a potential mate, therefore settling isn’t something we really do, or don’t do. Our ‘wants’ are more simple and are either met or aren’t. It’s more definitive.
to a guy though, AD is not pretty at all, sure rocking body and beautiful person, but visually, shes not good looking at all
beauty is subjective- I personally don't find Clay attractive...he looks average to me. Nothing special.
