A lot of time has passed since this incident happened so I’m sure it’s easier to look back and laugh at the situation which seems comical and unbelievable but I can’t even begin to imagine how Wang must’ve felt when he found out about his wife cheating on him and then also being accused of domestic violence. As someone who has been cheated on, the hurt still feels very fresh to me. It’s so fucked up that people can just go out and about their day while mentally killing you like this. People will say things like “why didn’t you notice sooner?”, “why did you blindly believe them?”, etc when such things come to light. But no one thinks of blaming the cheater first and saying how could they do this to you. It’s like loving & trusting someone is seen as such a stupid act. It’s your life partner so why wouldn’t you blindly trust them? I genuinely feel so bad for Wang, he didn’t deserve this at all. I hope people like Mara can get some kind of punishment not just for the property and cash transfer but also the mental damage that they inflict on people.
