The contrast between Lizzy's voice and Amy's voice is like fire and ice they couldnt be further apart but that song just works in ways i cant even explain. As a duet they are perfect i wish i would do more songs together

@@norsegamingtv1686 Some people consider Halestorm "metal" and some people consider Evanescence "symphonic metal". I personally consider both bands to be rock, but was just covering all the genres. Doesn't change that it's an awesome duet by two awesome artists.
This song is so underrated. Her performance of it during Synthesis era (2017-2018) is also super stunning. There’s a DVD of 2018 and she particularly shines in this one.

I believe it was Beth Roars that referred to Amy's voice as sounding like a violin. I couldn't agree more. I also really like your hair. I don't know if you're familiar with Field Of Innocence, but that is another one of my favorite songs from Evanescence. It's incredibly dark sounding. Keep it metal. \m/
Self-titled was so amazing album. Erase This is their best song for me. But also Never Go Back and Oceans are sick songs.

Amy Lee is a gift to humanity. I've been waiting for someone to react to this version of the song, and your reaction is perfect. One of the best things about Evanescence is how they can run any one of their songs through a different "filter" and it's just as amazing as the original, or as in this case, even more incredible. Amy Lee also has the best instincts for when to add emphasis or accents at just the right time and in the best way (e.g., the strong low note on the piano at 5:30, the high note at 9:22, the growl at 9:45, which always kills me) I don't know the story behind this version, but it seems like she just walked into the arena, saw a piano on stage and went up and played the song, and someone happened to get it on video. Bravo, great review!
You should check out the acoustic show Ev did in Germany in 2012. Legend is Amy Lee was recovering from a cold, but still gave a performance for the ages.

If you're looking for a paired down version of an Evanescence song try the version of "Wasted On You" Amy did with Lyndsey Stirling for the String Sessions. While we're on the Stirling bandwagon Amy sang on a song called "Love goes On and On" which is also lovely.
If I had to pick a favorite video of Amy Lee's, Lost in Paradise would have to be it. Other than that, all of her older videos are extremely moving. In case you missed any of them, the list goes as follows: Bring Me To Life, Call Me When You're Sober, Everybody's Fool, Going Under, Good Enough, Lithium, Lost in Paradise, My Heart Is Broken, My Immortal, Sweet Sacrifice & What You Want. I just had to have all of them saved to my computer and many of her older concerts as well. Thanks to a free internet program called y2b, I was able to do just that. I am totally hooked, because I just can't seem to play them enough. I thought that I fell in love with her voice the first time that I ever heard it, but with a whole new light brought out by seeing her on all these videos, OMG, I am overtaken, soul, mind and body for life and beyond. By the way, I think you are a sweet looking young lady yourself and I would like to know more about you, what songs that you and sing and what other wonders of you that might surface. I thought that I was the only one that was so moved by this video, but now that I watched you, I no longer feel silly or alone.
A piano and Amy Lee's vocals, if that doesn't give one chills and make your eyes leak, you need to check and make sure you have a soul.

I always liked this song, and really enjoy this stripped down version of the song. Amy likes to use that breathiness in her vocals, which I enjoy. She also likes to switch to a quick deeper voice and then back to high, which again I enjoy.
OMG!!! You would love the 2011 noble peace live version of this song. You should check it out for a reaction. It's soooo amazing.

I'm going to give "Break In" a third must listen to recommendation. It's one of, if the best duets I've ever heard in Rock. I'be heard the studio and the live versions and believe or not, I honestly think the live version is better. You can really hear Amy when she sings that super high harmony with Lizzie. I hope with 3 recommendations that she'll get the point and react to it. 🤞🏻
