    I have the same Nisstec lift on my 09 CC/LB. It's a shame Nisstec went under. I had a very good experience with them. Now I'm looking for a new company to work with since Nisstec is gone.

      From everything I can see they are. It sounds like some people have more details about what is behind the closure on the Frontier forums, but I don't know how accurate any of it is.
      It's a real bummer.

    A fine instructional video! I have a 2019 Pro 4X with an Old Man Emu lift which netted a lift of: 1-3/4" Front and 2-3/4" Rear which levels out when loaded for overland or towing. The stock front suspension has a rubber stop on an arm that engages the lower control arm to prevent the UCA from conflicting with the coil overs on the drop. This limits travel, but would still be needed with your set-up. How did you modify it to get additional drop ?

    • @RogueOverland
      @RogueOverland  Před rokem +1

      Sounds like a nice setup! The spacer above the coil and grinding part of the coil bucket gives the extra down travel.

    • @RogueOverland
      @RogueOverland  Před 2 lety +1

      It all comes down to maintenance in our experience. We’ve been in the trail with plenty of Toyota’s and Nissan’s that have had that problem. A well maintained rig will almost always perform well. Thanks for watching and be sure to check out our rig walk around and adventure videos.

    Got a question ?? Did the Upper control arm from SPC fit on its mount without any modification? because on my 2022 frontier, i did have to cut and bend the back side of the mount in order for the bushing housing of the UCA to fit on the mount. SPC's bushing/housing is a lot bigger than the stock UCA.

  • @dahatchery

      @RogueOverland  Před měsícem

      With Nisstec out of business it would be best to contact All Dogs Offroad and let them know you were watching our video and have some questions, they can help you out. To our understanding the increased travel is the reason for the clearance issue. Changing the UCA to a Titan one would likely still have the issue.
