  • Shiftiness is an often glorified aspect of football performance. It's a very important part of being a great football player, and many have attempted to make drills that will create shiftiness. In this video, I look to solve how to create shiftiness. Stay tuned until the end of the video to get my real perspective on how to get shifty!

Best straight forward and factual answers to how to become shifty playing football I have ever heard on any video because if the kids today will just go outside and play more street ball I promise it'll make them become better athletes without all the expensive equipment.

It’s definitely a new way to think about it! But if you think about it. Older players had elusiveness and didn’t have the highly advanced equipment and technology. They played games on the playground and out in the yard

New sub, thanks do you have any drills for fast kids around 13 that aren't very good route runners. My son is very fast at 13 he's ran 4.6 in the 40 he will get faster as his body grows but he wants to be a good route runner. Asking for help I never played a skill position only linebacker.

Every time you train your speed, make every sprint your best effort. Then rest several minutes in between sprints. You need to rest in between sprints so you can be full strength every rep.
Train 2-3 times per week on your speed
      Time yourself or race somebody
      Jump high, far and often
