My mom was a praying mom and her children were scatted all over the USA -7- of them. When she was older she said she prayer all across the USA for her children each day. Us children each took a day of the week to call her. I think she may have known we were doing this as she would say well Dan should call me today. She was a wonderful Godly woman.
I pray that all my children will come to know Christ as their personal savior and that they will always know that I will always love them dearly till my last breath and for eternity ❤️

As a mother whose daughters that are adults now, All you need to do is just tell her you love her. That's all I want. I don't understand why that is hard kids today to show how to appreciate parents or a parent. I wish mine would just give there life to Jesus like he said. Then the rest falls into place.

I pray that God will grant you peace with your mom. I lost my momma a little over a year ago and I miss her so much. I want to call her and hug so bad. I did when she was alive but I could have even more. Call your mom and tell her you forgive her and ask for her forgiveness. God will forgive you and her for all the things you may have done wrong. It's not too late until they are gone. Bless you!

You think this holds true for adoptive mothers too? I'm the only mother my daughter has ever known till couple years ago, and I'm fine with her knowing her bio-mom. She should. I was adopted~ I lost my way for a lot of years ... & I made my way back 2my adopted parents ... keep praying 4her ... keep trusting God. I know it hurts I know it feels like it’s never gonna end but don’t give up.

This is so hard to listen to when my mother is not the mother portrayed in this message. I have suffered much mental and emotional abuse from her.
I believe God is dealing with me on honoring her; just have been trying to figure out how to when she is so mean, bitter, and unforgiving. I think the answer is that I simply have to forgive her. This is something I have to remind myself after every family event. I am sharing this to help others who struggle with this very issue.

This is not about what your mother did to you. Her actions caused you pain in the past and trauma. God does not want us living in the past. Your thoughts create your destiny. If you carry that hurt and anger it will be your future. Just forgive her. let God deal with her when the time comes.
As soon as my 42yr old son rededicated his life in a Baptist church has disrespected me awfully, he has never been like this. Finds fault in everything I do and blames me for what he does. Pray he is open to the Holy Spirits wowing him back to grace. I taught him grace and peace. He will come back.

Tonight at about 1 AM Est I heard Pastor Franklins Entire Sermon about "How To Honor Your Mother." It was One of the Most Powerful and Heartfelt Speeches I have Ever Heard. The Mothers "Power of Prayer" should not and cannot be Understated and Appreciated and Mothers Never be taken for Granted. We Wear So Many Hats and Do So much! We Do it All!! The Pastor Touched My Soul, as he became So Emotional Expressing his Point Across to the Audience of Thousands in the Church and on the Internet! Incrediable Amazing. I usually Listen to another Pastor on TV, right before Pastor Franklin is scheduled. I'm going to start watching his Sermon more. Bless You n Thank You! I'm sure you Touch People with the Holy Ghost and Your Voice and Technique of Teaching!

I have three adult daughters who have broken my heart. I was a single mom and worked to give them what I could and show the love I knew how to give. I pray everyday for God to somehow show them he is real and they need to be God Fearing. I don't give up on them, but when I try I get hurt over and over. What will it take dear Lord. I am sick now and need emotional support.

I honor my mother each day in a memory of some sort. I can no longer see, feel, touch, feel, call, check on, hear her voice, hug her in the flesh. But in the precios spirit where she is i can do all these things. its the reason through God we can do all things. without we can are helpless. Physically in the flesh the love i fail to give her is over i cant retrack those days but God says i will again know her. Not as mom but as a wonderful woman in my life that gave me life. ill never be such a man i can’t shed a tear when she comes to mind. A such man who cant shed a tear remains the dirt he came from. Remember this never be a man who consiiders himself a sissy if he sheds tears.

Really needed this!! Been a struggle area!! I LOVE my mom to PIECES, it's just my flesh gets in the way never intentional but No excuse. But this has challenged me so greatly.
