Yeah the fight was fun, and it feels like a long time since we just had fun with SW haha

This fight was total trash. The only props i can give is that they actually killed characters

1: the prequels the actors spent a huge amount of time learning how to lightsaber duel and perform the choreography. Hence being able to see the actual actors perform the fight making it feel real and genuine. the acolyte fight seems to be done by stunt men and women hiding faces constantly.
2: Power scaling is totally messed up. Smile guy easily defeats 4 jedi knights but the padwan who in a previous scene was still training with a stick. Not to mention suddenly being able to dual wield. Asoka was also a padawan but was obviously at the end of her padawan training.
3: Within the prequels there are very distinct saber styles applied within the fights like count Dooku using form 2 Makashi and Anakins form 5. This fight and Disney star wars in general there seems to be no light saber style anymore just a bunch of swiping. Cheapening the fights and it doesn't make the world feel lived in with an existing history. At least with Kylo they had the argument that his training wasn't finished and had created his own style. But at this point everyone fights like an amature.
4: The obvious swings at nothing. Like 5 times during a duel they obviously swipe at air or aim for the saber. like at one point fighting the padawan who was going to absolutely miss smile guy. his response is to extend his arm into the swing area to hit it with his bracer. Making that moment especially look retarded. you can argue this was to disable her saber but simply aiming the move at him would of fixed this issue indicating terrible choreography.
5: fight ending openings that are ignored and incessant kicking. Several times smile guy ignores enemies while they are defenseless or easily beatable making him look retared. Also an kick here or there can work but only if its obvious that there saber is not available. because if a kick connects a saber would aswel.
and I could honestly find more issues. but its not worth my time aparthy has set in on star wars especially since so many people will just go "look at the colours"
