- This was the last song that Every Time I Die played at Warped Tour in West Palm Beach at Coral Sky Amphitheater. I had an idea that they would do something special as their last song, but no one expected the ending. I love these guys. Enjoy this 15 minute rendition of Map Change, where Jordan plays the main riff for no less than 9 minutes and 15 seconds by himself.
- Hudba
some say, he's still playing that riff, till this day...
Where
He crowdsurfed while playing at the end in Jacksonville but his wireless unit kept going in and oit cause they damn near carried him a fucking mile.
sounds fake, i don’t even believe that’s the real jordan buckley, legend has it he’s still floating somewhere in texas when they wouldn’t put him down
Shelby Gloom 😂😂😂
"I'm not gay!"
The tour can't end if you never stop playing
Here after the breakup......this needs to be played on a loop forever. LONG LIVE ETID
Watching them break down the stage behind him reminded me of the band playing out as the Titanic sank... Very honorable move, Jordan!
The "ship's going down with the captain" line is very apropos considering.
Every Time I Die - Map Change (Extended Version)
Honestly he could play that riff forever and I'd have no problems with it
Absolutely agree. Even 5 years later haha
This is how he got out of tearing down the gear
damn I need to remember that one
hahaha love this
Man this hits even harder now doesn't it. RiP ETID
"The ship's going down with the captain" is so fitting for this.
I remember reading somewhere that the reason he was playing so long was that there was a band playing on another stage and he wanted their set to finish so ETID could have the honor of being the last band/last note played at warped
What was competing band?
The most poetic conclusion I’ve ever seen
Wow, while it is really awesome performance and a great send off, especially from Jordan. You can just really tell Jordan loves Warped Tour to death. Thinking back to the old ETID Dvd's, he would sell merch in the car line ups as they enter and leave, street team for ETID at warped and just literally live and breathe it. After the power was cut him just stage diving and crowd surfing, he just wanted that evening to last forever man. Dang Jordan Buckley got me right in the feels with that performance
Thank you for 23 years of pure creativity, growth, and unmatched energy. Not a single bad record in their entire catalogue.
RIP to one of the greatest, most hard-working bands to ever do it.
I'm still reeling from the news.
Hope that a miracle happens but regardless, they were amazing.
For the last 8 years this band was the only reason I'd buy a warped ticket. This was really special to see.
Joe Momma consider this my like on your comment since it's got 69 right now
0derpred0 You’re suppose to hit that 69 for good luck dude
Hauntingly beautiful riff... I actually wish he played it longer. Props to ETID... such a great song
Thank you Jordan for prolonging this final magical moment.
How different it would be if instead of this song, they played "Holy Book of Dilemma" and instead of the riff being played, Keith just screamed "Separate hearts are the whole of the law!" For 8 minutes straight
I would’ve busted a fat nut
Fucking goosebumps man. Thank you for that comment! I mean it!
YES
Top 10 saddest anime deaths :(
Still get chills from this. Growing up warped tour was the thing I looked forward to the most every year. My favorite holiday. Standing in this crowd while Jordan kept that riff going while the stage got broken down and then it started raining and the whole crowd was fucking blown away. Fucking living poetry. Couldn’t think of a better send off for the event that molded so much of my upbringing. Thank you warped tour
I think we all aspire to live in the moment like that, knowing it'll be the last time.
Never stop never stopping
fuck yeah I laughed out loud for real
im not crying, youre crying
The whole zooming on the plane during one of the breaks super well timed.
Jordan playing the riff forever in the end will live rent free in my head to the day I'll die.
That riff is such a perfect loop.
Every time I cry*
Seriously.
my heart cant hadle this comment
i crie ebrytim.
This was the only right way to end Warped Tour for Every Time I Die.
i still come back to this time to time
In light of recent events, this hits on a different level
Can't believe this band is done. We didn't deserve ETID
sad to see they couldn't come to terms
@@kersedlife6226Keith just couldn’t check his ego that’s all it was. I highly doubt Andy and Jordan were the problem as both are the coolest damn dudes (I’ve met them a handful of times at shows).
Jordan is an absolute legend of the scene and its about time he starts getting mentioned with all the other greats.
Right in the feels man...long live warped & ETID
Jordan and the rest of ETID are as raw as it gets. One of the greatest to do it.
Brings a tear to my eye, that riff and passion Jordan youre the man
Jordan is a legend. Last year I ordered a t-shirt from his store, the dude couldn't find it in the size I wanted and offered 2 free shirts for the inconvenience. I said that it wasn't necessary and decided to get the same model but in a tank top (the "Make America Gay Again" one). Jordan ended up giving me the tank top I ordered, two free T-shirts, some gummy bears and a postcard. I believe he was moving the warehouse of his store somewhere else and needed to get rid of stuff and that's why I got free shit. But hey...nice gesture.
Definitely possible, but I also know for a fact Jordan is just the coolest dude. I ordered like $50 worth of stuff from his store and he ended up sending me a ton of extra shit for free. Posters, masks, etc. Dude's awesome through and through.
What a beautiful way to send off Warped Tour😭😭💕
I’ve always loved how chaotic ETID’s sound is, it’s even more so live
2022 and he's still playing that riff
Nothing beat an ETID show at Warped Tour in Buffalo NY. So glad I got to experience it several times in my youth.
I come back and watch this video often. What an absolute legend✊🏼
These guys have been, and are definitely going to be one of those Rock bands that stand the test of time and live forever.
Well, they're breaking up, sooo...😭
I'll take comments that did not age well for $2,000, Alex.
RIP to one of the greatest to ever do it. :'(
@@ChristopherLopezDrums They’ll still have a legacy that very few will ever live up to.
@@devinxharper These guys did what Nirvana did without the frontman offing himself. They’re on the same level as bands like Motörhead. Even though they broke up they’ll be remembered and cherished.
Maaannnnn what fuckin way to end it!! Jordan you are a true fuckin legend!!! Love this band!!!
You missed Andy literally throwing the shirt and pants he was wearing to the crowd.
Awesome that you caught the whole thing! I was rocking the rail right in front of Jordan, but I pulled out at the "end" of Map Change with a friend that was about to pass out before Jordan started to continue playing. I caught the last 6 min but it's nowhere close to how good this is. Best band ever. ETIDiots forever!
These dudes make me proud to be from Buffalo. There really isn't a whole lot of (other) reasons to be proud of being from Buffalo...that sounds darker then I intended it to.
What you say is true…being that I’m from Buffalo NY and left for better days 9 years ago…I have never seen a band live more times then ETID and with their end last year I plan to keep it that way. One of the greatest bands that I have ever had the pleasure of seeing play time after time. Like you said, there’s not much to be proud of to be from Buffalo, but ETID was/is it.
Glad Jordan did this wearing the shirt of the second best band on warped tour Kublai Khan
That person crying sidestage at the end is a vibe
This is the greatest thing I've ever seen. Legends.
This riff helped save my life, and I think he knew it ❤❤
2024 and I'm probably not the only one missing etid and warped tour, but we're blessed with amazing memories of both. I hope this one stays fresh in everyone's minds
Man, this is chilling. What a way to close out an era.
I enjoy watching the guy in the emo shirt try to sort it out in his mind that he has to eventually stop Jordan somehow.
What a great vid. Punk rock at its...erm...punk-est.
I love that they start chanting "one more song" after half the equipment has been dismantled lol a little late for that it seems
So awesome growing up in their scene and seeing them succeed!
I love the idea that so many people were unknowingly in this legendary video at such a beautiful and precise moment a second before the heavy breakdown
I'm so honored to have been a part of this. The last Warped date ever might not've had the best lineup, but it was for sure the most special.
RX Bandit i definitely feel that
Great username
Thanks dude!
That pit looks so fun and not hostile
Agreed. Went to the Mountain View show back in June and saw 3-4 fights break out because people were getting hostile in the pit
MannInnTheBoxx "without hurting anyone *too badly* " haha just what I like to hear 😂
Chance Kennedy most pits are just people having some fun, a few knucleheads but you kind of end up partying away from them....
I told my sister when they where touring with beartooth that she would want to see their set and the mosh pit from up close.I could never get into the singers voice but I know they always go off. 2 people got knocked out and there was a fight/the police ejected some guy. She told me I wasn't wrong lol
I moshed to Ice Nine Kills at the Columbia date as they were the last band on the mutant stagesand everyone was going crazy during the aggressive vocal parts and calm during the non aggressive vocal parts
The coordinates we had were incorrect and now we have to re-scout the entire area. Map change. Even the title implies a dire sense of urgency. Love this band.
This man stopped to stare at a plane
Just trying to give you the overall vibe of the environment sweetcakes!
with perfect timing for the breakdown!
At the worst time imaginable though the crowd doesn't seem to know what's even happening..
I don't think anything could've topped what the guitar player did at Charlotte. He handed a music equipment case out to the crowd for them to hold up and he stood on top of it and played, so epic.
Omfg I would have been moshing and crying 😢 like crazy last of the last, and this is where it all began for me from the very first Warped Tour in 1998 great times shout out to Josh Trustkill
Jordan is awesome! At Rock on the range last year he ended the set by crowd surfing all the way past the sound booth, still playing the whole time
One of the most beautiful things I've ever seen
this hits so differently now 😢
I am so glad you kept recording, this is iconic
thanks so much for recording this, absolutely amazing!
legendary status
Thanks so much for uploading this, I can’t believe I was able to experience this.
7:07 "Hold up wait a minute, y'all thought I was finished? "
That was still emotional to watch.
This is awesome, thank you for posting!
August 2018 - last time i was feeling happy. i remember this summer very clear :)
It gets better!
Thanks for sharing this, Jordan is a fucking legend! RIP Warped Tour.
There will never be a band like ETID. A band that got really big by just being themselves.
This was beautiful. I’m so sad there was no New Mexico date this year would have loved to go to warped tour one last time
I miss this band.
The best riff ever !!!!!🎸
I was there. This was legendary. Forever warped. I’m the guy in the pits wearing a black Unearth Wayne’s World shirt and black jeans.
King Infinite How was Unearth’s performance that day?
Jaime Gonzalez Unearth fucking killed it. This was my first time seeing Every Time I Die and Unearth too.
My bad I wasn’t wearing my Unearth shirt. It was Motionless in White
Best warped tour band of all time. God I miss them and that festival FUCK
Brother in the back is *ripped*, man..
Rory Gibson Instagram - the_yvesdropper
thats the same guy that sang a bit for some of the other bands right?
i cant find any footage of him at warped
Andy?
I manage to video of them in Dallas and Tamp Vans Warped Tour. Great Band!! Good video Bro!!!
RIP ETID,
the man that sank Atlantis
So jealous. Really considering moving to the states for all the tours (not only Warped which won’t be the same again) and the amount of good shows you guys get yearly.
I've been using CZcams since 2007 and I think I've liked 1 video the entire time. This just became number 2. This video made me literally lol, then it frustrated me, then it shocked me and made me go wtf and finally it was wholesome at the end.
Well, what are they gonna do about it? Ban them from the next Warped Tour?
Pretty sure he was using sarcasm. But either way. S
To soon man -_- lol
islander its a pretty cool band but they are cristians so the atheist warpd boss kick out them lol
@@diegodefante Memphis May Fire is a Christian band that was on Warped several times and never kicked off, same with We Cam as Romans to an extant are Christian, never kicked off.
kmart67620 I've also seen for today perform at warped a number of times, pretty good shows too!
As soon as I heard about this I was so happy to find this video
this shit is fucking Beautiful
That was the perfect end to warped. Thx for the memories
Awesome, that Jordan just keeps playing.
Honestly, legendary. End of an era. 😕
Saw them in 04 and been a fan ever since
This is my favourite video on youtube
This is amazing
This video brings tears man ;(
This video gives me mad goosebumps
Brings me to tears
Epic and legendary.
The first time i watched ETID i was 14, andy played in nothing but whitey tighties, keith drank an entire bottle of jack on stage, i left with a black eye and a broken nose and a new favourite band. This was about a month after HotDamn was released. I knew nothing about hxc and hated it and the kids cuz im from the punk scene and they completely changed my whole outlook on all of it. 23 fuckin glorious years fellas.
This is magical
I love this band w all my heart glad I live where they come from (buffalo)
Insane. Long live ETID. Never forget warped. RIP
