To add to that. A lot of people think saturated fay is bad. No. It's actually necessary. It's al about the amount you take. You shoulnd't eat too much unsaturated fat too. And cholesterol is important for your health too.

I like this video. Big thumbs up Mr. Stoppani. My friends have wondered for a long time and even argued with me about the health benefits of eggs when I told them to eat at least 2-3 eggs per day if you are training or even if you are not training. I told them that I eat 3-5 eggs every single day. They thought I was crazy and warned me about the cholesterol. I told them that they sound really funny and explained a little bit about what eggs actually contain and about the lie we are told about the cholesterol. Some believe and some don't.
I guess some people want to hold on to age old lies because they are imprinted so hard in their backbone. I just wish people would do their own study and not believe anybody or any school just because they are saying something is good or bad. Where is the common sense of using your own brain to investigate before believing. I personally believe that we must test everything and keep what is good. How do we do that? We search, ask, test and try and use our God given brain to do so. Stupidity is ignorance where I once lived myself. It's a place where one doesn't take responsibility that is given. It was a hard wakeup call, but I'm happy I'm not there anymore thanks to the Lord. Anyways.. great video.
Just had some (all organic of course) fried eggs with cayenne pepper, himalayan salt and black peppers with sauerkraut with carrot pieces, cottage cheese, tomatoes and cucumber, 2 slices of real wholegrain bread with real butter and some red jalopeno cheese, and 2 chicken fillets. People would say too much fat. Haha, they should see my lunch then, and still gaining muscle mass and healthier than ever compared to the times when I was afraid of all fat and was too skinny and probably mental disorder when looking in the mirror trying to think I look normal. I believe fat contributes to brain function as well balancing everything out. :)

The cholesterol myth has NOTHING to do with "big pharma". We've known that dietary cholesterol doesn't elevate ldl cholesterol levels since the damn SEVENTIES. The first studies ever done on it (independant AND sponsored) showed this. As soon as the question was asked, we had the right answer. The only reason the myth persists that dietary cholesterol is a bad thing persists is because of deliberate lies and misrepresentation of facts by armchair experts, "health" blogs, vegan propaganda webshites, and hippies. Nothing to do with "big pharma". "Big pharma" isn't even a real thing unless you're a 12 year old conspiratard who lives on the internet

When I came across the medical info and research on eggs for bodybuilding about 3 years ago, I was surprised because for years I had been told that whole eggs were dangerous due to cholesterol in the yolks. This is only true for individuals who already have high cholesterol. In fact, the yolks contain Vitamin K2 that helps keep the arteries flowing nicely. Since that time, I have been eating 6 to 8 eggs a day usually. Finally, I was able to put on muscle from my workouts. I also eat oatmeal, quinoa, and raw pumpkin seeds to get the Amino acid Leucine that is also found in egg yolks. The key protein for maintaining and building muscle. The incredible edible egg! And egg yolks contain Vitamin D3. Another big plus for the body and one's immune system.

I read somewhere that having more than 7 whole eggs per week, increases your chances of heart disease. I normally have 3 whole eggs per week. So one day, let's say, Monday, I have 1 whole egg with 3 egg whites. Then another day in the middle of the week Wednesday, or Thursday, I do the same and finish off my egg week consumption on Friday or Saturday. I also have oatmeal and sometimes grits along with my eggs. I also like to put cheese on top of my eggs, tastes so good.

One question though, I've grown tired of scrambled eggs and even other ways of preparing them, for simplicity and time's sake, I started taking them (3 whites and 3 yolks) in a shake along with oatmeal and fruit plus honey. Is this as effective as eating them solid? what are the differences?

I read this article "Egg Yolk consumption & carotid plaque" Spence JD. It says egg yolks can exponentially increase carotid plaque when 3 or more egg yolks are eaten per week. I know the studies didn't take much factors into consideration (e.g. more diet info, exercise & waist circumference), but I wanted to your advice on why this does not apply to what you are saying. Is it because they only considered those at risk for cardiovascular disease?

+Jim Stoppani I'm a 5'4" male and weigh about 165lbs (74kg) and on a calorie deficit of 1500 calories per day in order to lose 2.2lbs (1kg) per week. At the moment I have 2 whole eggs and 3-4 egg whites (usually from an egg white bottle) for breakfast cooked in coconut oil (extra fats). I'm trying to shred so for my size and physique would you recommend 2 or 3 whole eggs?

    Hi Jim.
I wander can you build strong, healthy body without meat and dairy. I've read that the gladiators had 100% vegetarian diet and they have the reputation of great athletes. What is your opinion?

Is anyone else confused by the nutrition for the 3 eggs and 3 egg whites. I thought that 30*4= 120 (calories for the protein) + 30*9= 270 (calories for the fat) would net close to 400 calories... Something I am missing?

I was disappointed the opinion of Cancer Research UK that there is no such thing as a superfood and according to this organisation, the term is a marketing tool.
Whereas I do not agree with the definition here, it is at least a definition and we have to start somewhere!

So what do you do if eggs make you vomit explosively? I don't know if it's an allergy or what, but I can't eat a straight up egg.

Paul Lueth Avoid them, and find another source of protein.

Easiest way to cook eggs is to steam them. 15 min with the timer.

Hi Jim, I would really appreciate if you answer my question because I am struggling to find an answer. In 2 days i will start your Program Shortcut to Shred at bb.com as it is stated in the website because i weigh exactly 180 lb. My problem is that i workout late at night because of my work, and i have maximum 1.5 hours after gym in order to have my protein shake and eat something and sleep. Is it recommended to miss the dinner and have the night time snack in 30 mins before sleeping? thank you.
