- Car Tent Camp in rain with my dog Bruce. Used my Ford Ranger, The North Face Wawona 2P tent and the Aqua Quest Defender 6x4m tarp. We had a great time, cooked some great food and explored the area. Unfortunately my back injury resurfaced and gradually I was becoming incapacitated. Don't forget to give my mate C-WEST Camping a sub.

I’m in Alabama again watching your video with my little 4 year old grandson, Chase, and he got a bit scared when the current began taking Brucie down stream.. he said “Momaw , Tony will save Brucie”. Even at the age of 4 , Chase knows Tony and Brucie.. you all are very popular in our family as Chase keeps everyone in the know 🤣❤️
Oh Tony, cannot think of anything better than the fresh air and listening to the sound of the rain with my dog. You are blessed.
I can only speak for myself but I think many agree with me that it feels a bit like we are there with you and Bruce camping. It is just as relaxing and cozy to sit and watch you both even though I live on the other side of the globe, in the northern part of Sweden.
I really do appreciate your small talk about life in genrerall. Your experiences. Ups and downs but still have a great sens of humor and a good spirit. Enjoying having a great time. Some great food and a glass of wine. A whiskey and a cigar of the best kind with Bruce by your side.

Brucie is such a pretty dog , he's so well behaved , and so sweet 😃, watching you guys always makes me relax , your way of camping is probably 100% the way everyone would like to camp or camps,
Bruce nailed the correct ferry angle to get out of the fast flowing current, swift water rescue team would be proud 👍

True that. I was worried at first, but Bruce knows water, and as a Ferry Captain, I know you are absolutely right about that.
I live by the water, a few blocks from the harbor, and up until about 5 years ago, I had a yellow Lab mutt, who, as Brucie, loved the water. In the winter, she would leap up and pounce on the ice, to crack it, at the shore line. An iced over rut in the road, stood no chance against her, as she would break it, to be found rolling around in ice water, and then just laying in it, calm as a clam.
Point being, she was a Retriever in essence. Part of our play, every day, involved many sorts of balls, but on the water, Tennis balls ruled. I'd throw one up wind, tide, current, so that she could calculate the path (the swim), to intersect it, which she nearly always did, and that was the best 'fun' of a ball, that she knew, as she had to figure it out, to get there.
One day, I misread the tide, current and wind, and the ball was getting away from her, as compared to her closing in on it, as normal. All of this, about 1/4 mile offshore, as typical.
Finally, I surmised the situation, and called her off, with my secret bark and whistle, and she turned to me on a dime, with a quickly planned trajectory to me, perfectly, reading all the powers that be (wind and water). She was none the worse for wear, but it was amazing to me, that I could actually call her off a ball, which I had often trained her to on land, but never yet, on the water.
I love to watch Brucie in the water, such a natural water baby 👶 😍 😜

I love watching this channel. It's a great way for me to see another country from the comfort of my couch. Tony, you are such a calming presence with a lot of common sense thrown in. Brucie may be the face of AB camping but you are the heart and soul. God has truly blessed you.

As to goats, here in the States, the only wild goats I know of are in the Appalachian Mountains and the Rocky Mountains. Wild goats are a bit different from 'domestic', if that's the word. The goats I've met in the Rockies are bigger, in general, and more wild, of course, but about equally 'harmless', to a degree, as those in the Appalachians. That 'degree' being, don't mess with a goat, and generally, they won't mess with you.
They are not bear, cougar, rattlesnake or such, but they can mess you up, just by having fun. Even a small domestic (hand trained) goat, can be hard to handle. Thank god for the horns, as how else would you have a chance?

Hi Tony and Brucie! I have cancer, heart issues, and I'm 72, but my true love is still camping, don't get to go much now, but now I get to go with you and Brucie, and that's "Awesome!" I love the rain so much, I just sit back before bedtime and l feel like I'm there. I live about 60 miles south of St. Louis.We have some really beautiful Parks to camp in our area. I love you showing the rivers and counytyside in your country, very beautiful, love the pristine clear water! Camping is all about just relaxing, cooking, and having a good time! Thank you for sharing your experiences with us. Would you give Bruce a little love from me! Keep up the trips!

Our granddaughter ( 2½ years old ) loves her "Bruce Jammies" The story about your dad is tough. Lost a parent to cancer ( nearly 2 year battle) over 19 years ago but they weren't a two day flight away in the middle of a pandemic. Your dad sounds like a wonderful man and our family is lifting you up in prayer. Any time you feel sad remember the good times spent with your dad. It won't make the pain go away but help you smile a little.

I think it's a great set up. I love the functionality of the huge tarp that protects the vestibule of the tent and the truck.
When I get all stressed and pour a saucer of milk when feeling catty I turn to your camping videos, pour a whisky and light a cig, sit back and turn back into a relaxed bunny. That tent ⛺ is awesome and the tarp too. You're a very relaxing person to watch and so down to earth. Like how you give credit when credits due. Your family 👪 would love that spot you're camping 🏕 in. Nearly dived into the screen to pull Brucie out the water slide he went on, but he's a good swimmer and would just push me back through the screen, Hope your back and foot feel better and the breathless after effects of Covid vanish too. Just know that feeling. Enjoy the rain, relaxation, food and future adventures.

Camping is my happy place, nothing compares! This year has been very challenging, but my one constant is being in the great outdoors, camping, hiking and just relaxing. The freedom and therapeutic quality makes it all worth it. Happy camping!!

I like the setup of your tarp over the back of your PU, and all the way over the vestibule of your tent! It gives Bruce lots of room to come and go in and out of the tent! Very nice! And airy! 👍👍👍
