When JB welding two pieces of metal together, take sandpaper and roughed up the two surfaces you are gluing to make the bond stronger. (Quando JB soldar duas peças de metal, pegue uma lixa e desbaste as duas superfícies que você está colando para tornar a ligação mais forte.)

except when he uses a press to shape the copper, and then some clamps to glue them...
scratch the surfaces like a cross pattern both sides before glue for even more strength

Saying this just becouse i noticed, when you were glueing the copper together, you didnt need to uce clamps, it would be better if you used your rig for bending the cooper to shape, it would put more even pressure on the deck while setting, and also it would put more prussure on the deck😄😄

Surely use your “metal deck press” during the glue up 🤦♂️ (bit of grease proof paper will prevent anything sticking) 👍🏼

thin metal can be scored with a utility knife and snapped. it wont leave a rough edge on either piece so your leftover is clean
very nice, if you are gonna do this again sand the sides that goes inward to eachother with very rough sandpaper before you glue and they will stick together and not fall apart so easily

when you were gluing the two copper plates together why didnt you just use the deck shaper clamp thingy
You should have sanded both surfaces before gluing for a stronger hold…then apply glue…and after put both pieces in the mold and then proceed

Try rubbing down the edges on the tape with your thumb like you would a skateboard and it smooths it out
He makes finger boarding look cool. I seen some other channels and their finger boarding was boring.

why not put all the layers with glue on the press again insteand of using clamps?
