"This is grotesque." "No. It's Versailles" had me rolling! I can't wait to see this.
I will definitely see this film!! I am so glad to see Johnny on the big screen!! He is the best !!
I was wondering why I kept hearing a little voice keep telling me 'Start learning French' all of last year...Now I understand why, I understood most of that without the subtitles lol
That's awesome! I'd love to learn French, but that one's a bit difficult for me. Have retained some German, but that's about it. My native language of English could use some work too, though, so learning another language might be way too hard. Great job though! Hope you are able to see Jeanne Du Barry and can disregard the subtitles (then you can pay more attention to Johnny).
@johnnydeppisarapistjohnnyd8962okay Amber lmao
Looks fantastic. On a lighter note, the necklace scene reminded me of “Pretty Woman”.
Can't wait to see it
Can't wait to see it. Look forward to seeing johnny in the movies again

❤Thanks for your unending love and support which has brought me this far. It has been a hard time for me but your support has got me standing even in difficult times. What country are you watching from?❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
I am from Philippines.I am your biggest fan.I’m so proud of you.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Im very curious to see this. French speakers, how do you interpret Johnny's performance? Difficult to tell if it works.
From what few lines he has in this trailer, I'd say it's an excellent level of proficiency for a second-language speaker (he's obviously been accent-coached to hell and back), but you can definitely tell he's not native. It's honestly pretty distracting.
As a Frenchman, I can tell you that it sounds pretty good even if it takes a little time to get used to. It's weird, he doesn't really have an American accent. In fact, it gives him a little stuck-up, hesitant side, which works his role quite well. Afterwards, he is quite stingy with dialogues and they are brief. (Sorry, I don't speak English well enough to answer you so I used Google Translate).
I am so exciited about this movie...when does it come out??????
Darn, i knew i should of bought that Jan/Dec Issue if 'Vogue' with its 40 pg interview with Legend Catherine Deneuve 'all in French', i would have already mastered my French language by now, ready to watch this intelligent film.
Brava
I have already purchased my ticket, a week and a half, earlier,..Omg,..! !

SHLM & HaB (peace & love). The Name of the Creator is Hayah Asher Hayah, as what He told Moshah (Exodus 3:14), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. There is a curse to the G-o-d name (Isaiah 65:11-12), preserved in the Hebrew Scriptures. All followers of the Messiah are to do the 7 appointed times (Leviticus 23), but no more animal sacrifices, following the Crucifixion of the Messiah. We are now of the order of MLK TSDQ (King, righteous), to Whom ABRaHM tithed. Ask the Messiah to be your personal Savior. He said to him, I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me (John 14:6). ...for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of Hayah (Romans 3:23). The wages for sin is death but the gift of ALaHYM is Everlasting Life through Messiah Yahushgh our Master (Romans 6:23). That if you confess with your mouth the Master Yahushgh and believe in your heart that ALaHYM raised Him from the dead, you shall be saved (Romans 10:9). He Himself is an Atoning Offering for our sins, and not for ours only but also for all the world (1 John 2:2).
Plot twist: Jeanne du Barry is a dude
That comment is too ignorant
What an embarrassment.
C'est Magnifique!!! Amber a entendu faire caca sur le lit de Johnnie.
amazing how unfunny this is in either language
@@Feasco Mercy Buckets!
Johnny est toujours magnifique!
Bad translation
This was adequate for ONLY French-speaking people? What about Johnny's English-speaking fans? And if they say we get subtitles, if I want to read the movie I'd buy a book.
It was based on very important history and King Louis XV. Why shouldn’t this be a totally French film? It is very easy to follow, and if you know a few French words, you will be able to follow without whinging about sub titles. I took French in high school, completing matric in 1969 in South Africa. I went to England and Europe in the early 70’s and could still make out many, any French words which was very helpful in all the French speaking countries and also used some French in other countries too. We as English speakers are horribly arrogant in expecting all foreign languages to have English translations, or expect all foreigners to speak English, but are far too lazy to learn at least one other European language. I’m glad we have so many African languages we can learn in South Africa, but starting late is a challenge. These are very difficult languages.
The good news is that, if you don't want to go, you don't have to.
Because it is a French film. I'd love for you to go to the theatre to see it, but otherwise wait for it to be on streaming and then you can probably have it dubbed, but then you don't get his beautiful voice.
He loves France. I doubt Johnny would consider you a fan for acting so entitled and disrespectful.
the subtitles are permanently on, every tv in our house... regardless of what language. it guarantees that everyone or anyone watching , catches the dialogue, even if you can't hear, or cannot understand a person or their voice etc. so when a foreign film is on, everyone is used to it. it becomes nature. and, it's extremely helpful in retaining what happens in a film, that's a proven fact that many studies have shown. also, my toddler reads at 6th grade level... and while being tested , we were asked when we started teaching him to read.. we responded, never... we never taught him how to read, he just started reading at 2, and has never stopped.. they asked if we use captions on our tv, we said of course.. turns out, that had a huge impact on his learning... captions improve the quality of any film/show/event in every way,at any age, with any ability or disability.
