This guy has done so much for CrossFit if anyone even thinks to criticize his decision to retire they're out of their mind. He has the world in front of him. He deserves everything that comes his way.
Matt is the Schumacher of Crossfit. One day there will be a Hamilton, who takes 6 titles; and Matt will regret not seeing how far he could have gone. Legacy is forever. It won't last. Sevan got lucky connecting with CF early days but it was embarassingly bad and he often crossed the line and wouldn't let the stars (athletes) talk. But at the time it was pretty much all there was.
Sacrifice, why do you have to make that sound dreadful....I sacrifice for my kids because I love them and they are a higher priority....there, it's not so awful
You're a big inspiration to a lot of us Mat and Josh. Enjoy your retirement Mat!
