Thank you Sir! Yeah...complying with the rules and regs is the way to go. I have caught and cleaned fish with hooks in them as well which leads me to believe that a fish's chances of survival are much higher with hooks in the throat than gill damage.

Great video and great ethnical questions. I would probably release them both and hope the fish survives, but if they don’t and something else gets a dinner out of the situation, that is all right by me.
When it comes to taking the hook out, especially some bait fishing, there's only so much you can do. I've caught a fish on bait line. It swallowed the gang hooks and bait right to its stomach, I just cut through line and sent it back. No way could I dig the hook out.

Dave...you're right! There's only so much you can do when they get hooked that deep. Cutting the line is the best thing to do in my opinion brother.
