I think this was the last Fleer set where they didn't make cards of EVERYONE on the roster...you usually had to at least be a rotation player. But in the Hoops set released the same year, they pretty much made cards of everyone, so Fleer did the same in subsequent sets.

These Fleer cards were sequenced, so if you could tell who’s on the back of the pack then you knew who was in the pack. That’s why the Pippen and Rodman cards were in the same packs depending on where they were located in the pack.

First is the sleeve and topload crowd like Jordans, other high value target cards etc. Then you have the pile with various HOFers, names which you will say out loud like Robert Parrish, Karl Malone, Dennis Rodman, Akeem Olajuwon etc. Then you have a pile with every other dude who played in the NBA lol, names you don't say out loud. My question is what are you doing with that middle-class of cards like the HOFers? Sorry for the wall of text and keep up the great content.
Ya I have to see multiple sales at that same price to believe it but it does have multiple and since I sell all my cards on eBay that's the price I go off.

I bought a lot of rack packs one with Duckworth on back. I pulled the Jordan before the Duckworth, but the sequence was the same before the Jordan.

I bought those 89 fleer cards when they came out in the stores, after about 10 packs, the centering was so bad i stopped buying them.
the 1991 Hoops Will Smith card #325 shot up in value. Might be worth more than some of those Jordans.

According to the PSA website that Jordan as 10 is $700, it actually has gone down in value. Not the $1500 you mentioned. Still a great card.
I use eBay to price the cards. One just sold today for $1700. Prices are never set in stone they vary.
Trading_cards_and_more eBay is tough to go by sometimes. A lot of people bid up cards or schill bid to make it sell for more. Dishonesty at its best.
