- Today I will be flying on an all first class configured VIP CRJ-200 operated by Contour Airlines. Contour uses this aircraft on their charter flights to act as a business jet. Due to some of their Essential Air Service (EAS) routes not having enough aircraft available, Contour often has to pull these special VIP configured CRJs to fly those routes as they are available. As this serves as a private jet when it flies charters, we are in essence flying revenue commercial onboard a private jet! Stay tuned to see how it is onboard a private CRJ!
I paid $182.39 roundtrip to IRK and back

Enjoyed the video. Nice work. luv2fly.
Looking very nice! Thank you for sharing😊.
Nice video, keep it up! Are the VIP configs owned by Contour, or where do they pull them from? They are normally just charter?
I work for Contour and yes we do own them. The are primarily used for charter and music tours. As said in the vido bio the airline is delayed with deliveries which has resulted in these operating when needed.
Thanks! Yeah they are owned by contour and used only when the normal ones are unavailable
If you sit right next to the Window, you can't see outside because the Window is too low. So this is the perfect Seating position. It's better to lean over then to bend down to see outside.
If thart makes sense..no it doesn't , it's not being used as a VIP, it's filling the gap on the SKD, it will soon be gone, and 30 pax CRJ will replace it in just a few weeks.
Actually, yes. It is used as a VIP or charter aircraft. Contour has a good few CRJ-200 aircraft configured with these cabins to be used for large group charters, music artists, etc. Maybe do your research before writing a comment next time. :)
