Why didn't you just go to the lounge for 6 hours and sleep on one of the many sofas? It's a great lounge, great airport and very underrated airline imho. Flown them many times in biz and never been disappointed. Outstanding value too.

I really liked this video. Soooo many "look at how amazing my life is in first/business class videos" and here we have an insane and wildly inconvenient way of experiencing business. Despite that, it's something the average middle class person could do for themselves if you wanted. Keep this kind of content up.

An interesting blog to watch... basically an escape for a traveler who is traveling just to travel... and a chance to sit in the front of the plane for the thrill of it. Also an adventure cause one never knows what this 'nifty fare' will get you. As was stated in the previous comment... very entertaining... and presented in a clever and fun way.

Would you be willing to please ping on screen what you paid for things (like the transit hotel in Jordan) in several currencies like EUR, USD and AUD please? Although I'm in the UK, I think most English-language viewers will have some concept of their value and it'd help viewers like me to better understand your reactions to expenses. Maybe go with your viewer demographics by region and a few minutes in post-production could equal much wider reach.

Great video dude! It's a shame you missed out on the transit hotel, would have been interesting to see what they actually offer. I believe Emirates offers passengers something similar when having a layover in Dubai.

I was excited my first time too, I stayed in longer than expected. It was very dry and a bit rough at times but entering Petra a few days later made up for it....
20:54 hi fyi, the senior purser who you thought was seated in business. Is the onboard security officer as seen all Royal Jordanian Airline. Btw I flew with them in business last year LHR-AMM-BKK-KUL for a great price on their 787. The last sector was on MH A 330 which is always great.

😂 I broke my ankle in Hobart, my Travel insurance got me business class on Qantas in the way back to DFW,so I had a tiny excuse for not liking the biz class- IMO United Polaris is better. But all the SYD flight and airport employees were so cool

Flyertalk forums, fb groups, grinding google flights (this surprisingly works out a lot)
I've transitted through AMM many times, and only used the hotel once - and having done it, I won't bother again. It was so much hassle to get to the hotel, and get back to the airport. The hotel they use isn't in the terminal, they arrange a driver to drive you there and back - it's sort-of on the airport approach road. It really isn't worth it, the whole process is dreadfully inefficient and takes so much time that you lose time for sleeping. Instead, I now just stay in the RJ lounge, which is quiet and has enough space in the middle of the night to stretch out and sleep. Also: I find the RJ 787 Business Class seat the most comfortable bed in the sky. Yes, it totally sucks as a seat, but when in bed mode it's so soft and comfy with lots of padding. And the cardamon coffee - OMG so delicious!
Did the airport have Priority Pass sleep pods? You could have used your Chase Sapphire Reserve or Capital One Business Venture X Priority Pass lounge benefits.
I have an 8 hour layover in Doha... did you consider going into Doha? Ill have access to the business class lounge but not the first class lounge so that may have been a factor. Lol

Did one of the Royal Jordanian FA's wear a 'traditional' Jordanian dress for the flight, changing to the standard garb just before landing? On all 4 of my (short haul) RJ flights there was and she split time between Business and Economy cabin. It seemed that she did have a bit of supervisory role. I named the role 'Mother'.

Why not just use a Travel Agent who'd sort all that for you? For the small fee, I think it's always worth it.

You are in dozens of airplanes in expensive business class even, far far above any normal persons budget. And u complain about a night for 250 dollar... which is in line or cheap compared to what you fly. I think ur getting a cheap😂

Staff on airlines and the comment in the video re the Jordanian staff- they are entitled to a business class seat and some planes even have them labeled - we had this on Singapore airlines a few days ago.
It’s a personal comment not relevant to the airline ,
If you are going to criticise service maybe the review should be equally as professional ,
If I have issue with service I directly approach the staff and tell them I address the airline directly , one less than favourable experience is not equal to all airlines - fyi i found Singapore airlines to be filled than expected for business class seats are awful service on multiple flights really poor , quantas similarly a dissapointment Etihad is great but seats are odd on a380 ( my seat was 12g )
Qatar are usually great we have had a few issues of slips in service but overall great , china airlines are really good Cathay similarly BA can be a bit stiff , latam is excellent virgin and air New Zealand also up there with a high score ,
Comparing apples and oranges
Hi Simon, where do I start, Qatar Airways, no doubt you would enjoy their business product, I know it's good but I'm more of an Emirates Fan than Qatar Airways and there are a couple of little niggles that O have heard and now know that makes me lean more towards Emirates than them, but I will not disclose them in public if you know, you know if not ignorance is bliss. That's all I'll say. Royal Jordanian, umm...was expecting a more up class look, feel and service kind of almost similar to the ME3 carrier a little bit disappointed, don't get me wrong it does look like they have a good not great business product in their B787, but their Embraer are a let down and I'm not sure if it's only this one flight return from Paris-Amman but if that head purser or cabin manager or I don't know what Royal Jordanian calls the head of cabin crew, however if this same person was working for any of those ME3 carrier and one team member or passenger were to report this to management, he would absolutely, definitely, without any doubt in my mind be fired on the spot upon the return flight to home base of any of those carriers.
