‘Dumb’ Turbo Trainer or ‘Smart’ Trainer? This Might Surprise You…

Welcome back to my Ironman Triathlon Training series, today I ran through, for me, the best budget zwift set up and why along with joining in on the Tour de Zwift group ride in cat A. I made some SERIOUSLY stupid mistakes but overall was happy with how I did.

Cadence sensor should be on the inside of the NDS crank? Good to get a look at Zwift though- I have an old Cycleops (now owned by Saris) Magneto turbo, not affiliated to Zwift and also my bike has 4iiii power meter crank and the Garmin speed sensor but can't link to any of the new apps (Maybe Trainer Road?)...Might have to bite the bullet and buy a smart trainer. Otherwise it's gonna be as boring as it was 15 years ago lol!!
