This giveaway is for a box of unopened fruit-shaped TRIX cereal (from Mexico). The cereal expires January of 2015.
Giveaway runs from August 12, 2014 until August 18, 2014. Winner will be notified on August 19, 2014 via whatever contact details are available.
No purchase necessary to win; you must answer a simple question about the Trix episode of Cereal Time to be entered. You can increase your chances by entering with 3 additional methods (tweeting, following a twitter account, and liking a Facebook page), however none of those additional methods are mandatory.
Your privacy is important to me, I will not share or sell your email address or mailing address. Winner will be chosen randomly through Rafflecopter Random Selector (which uses Random.org) and contacted via email or whatever contact details are provided. In 1985, there was a commercial where the Trix Rabbit meets Bugs Bunny, and even with the help of Bugs Bunny he couldn't seem to get his hands on any cereal.

I grew up in the 60s and 70s. I like the round Trix.
I loved a Trix commercial from 1985, with the Trix Rabbit meeting Bugs Bunny!
General Mills are bringing back the artificial colors in their Trix! Their calling it Classic Trix.
Honestly Trix has gotten a new look the cereal is now in the shape of fruit and I hate to taste because you can hardly even get the taste out of the new look

I'm sure you've heard that they recently brought back the fruit shapes in Trix and I myself have been very excited about that, so much that I like it better than the ball shapes, I mean it tastes just like nostalgia.

Sorry, I won’t be doing a whole video about them since I already covered them (they never went away in Mexico) in a previous video. The original ball shapes are what I grew up with, so I don’t have the same nostalgia for the fruit shapes from the 90s.

Every time I watch a trix commercial I always feel bad for the rabbit because the kids always take the trix
Yes, but maybe it’s for the best. The trix rabbit is an obvious example of a heavy addiction disorder; with added on to that his hyperactivity when presented the cereal. The kids are just trying to help the rabbit overcome this addiction
Don't forget, Trix had yogurt under the Yoplait brand!

As much as I love Froot Loops, this would be my go-to fruit-type cereal...if it was available more often in Canada. :p The taste is still pretty artificial, but I feel it tastes more like fruit juice than similar cereals.
I agree that trix taste better than fruit loops, my favorite fruity cereal is fruity pebbles, only before it gets soggy though
they should make limited time Frosted Crispix.

In my opinion when they had the swirls in the puffs it tasted terrible. They are now back to original full color and taste how they should. Well for the most part.

One early variation on Trix was a change from the basic puff shape to something that might be described as an "eye" along the lines of the CBS logo...something like that, my memory fails. It didn't last long. Might have been during the 1970s.

back in the early 1970s trix was the same shape and size as apple jacks but each piece had 3 little holes in it and the colors were the original 3 colors (pinkish red, orange and yellow)
