Ms Haywood (I know the name, not saying it though because she has been through too much) may not be known to the internet at large; but she is a vet and at least some of her clients probably recognized the name.
I don't see how she would put up with that, especially since the kids probably already know SOMETHING has happened, and will find out the first time they Google their Dad (and they got to wonder why he no longer streams).

I saw someone bring up a good point. In the animated clip where Ryan is talking about the uber and lyft stuff, Geoff asked him a question and Ryan immediately starts yelling he doesn't know. That's the same behavior he had when he was the terrorist in their trouble in terrorist town series. That's how he spoke when he was trying to hide something.

Its one of his narcissistic tells. He had similar outburst when it came to games of chance. He would complain about being unlucky all the time. It was the only thing that annoyed me about him before we knew of this. Logic minded people understand that luck isn't really a thing, or at least it doesn't single people out. Random is random. But he would tilt off because his narcissism overrides that logical brain and made him believe he deserved better and that some bigger force was out to get him. He wants to be able to be the victim.

I was really into AH for my first half of high school. I haven't engaged in their content since then, but even knowing one person's actions can collapse nearly an entire community-past, present, and future-is heartbreaking. Most of all, I can't imagine the emotional torment his family is facing. It's so ironic that he uses his family as a bargaining chip for silence because it implies his awareness that they are suffering most, but knowing the kind of hell they could experience never stopped him before. God be with his family, his targets, and every bearer of trauma mourning in the wake of unfolding pain.
This is absolutely horrifying. I used to love watching AH and Ryan was always my favorite. I looked up to him, I'm a film student bc I wanted to do the things he was able to with RT and AH. I feel sick after learning about this. I hope his wife and kids and the
survivors find a way to heal. I hope he pays for what he did.

After ray left, ryan was my favorite...knowing how much he has hurt everyone around him who cared about him...it devastates me, even as an adult, as someone who has been watching their content for literal YEARS it feels like betrayal...now I know how my mom felt when she learned about bill cosby
The fucked up part is I remember a lot of these parts from videos and without context I thought he was just being a “character” this is really gross and kinda tainted a big part of my teen/ high school years looking back now.

Although this was a month ago, the comment I mean, I feel like I have to say something. What he did was wrong on so many levels to the point it’s almost hard to believe. I grew up watching him with everyone else and seeing his streams with his kids, it makes me sad to think that all this time, based on the allegations, that he was doing all of this on the side.
What’s crazy is that when i re-visited AH after several months and saw comments about Ryan being “gone”, my first thoughts immediately went to “oh no, did something bad happen to him? a horrible accident? passed away?” getting all teary eyed thinking the worst towards his well-being until i saw info about the scandal, tears reversed in time and sadness turned into complete shock, disbelief. i pray for his family, AH, all ladies involved and all their well-being, and i also pray for Ryan.
I can’t imagine how this made AH feel, like they shared with us online, but it probably hurt more than they let on. I feel like it’s made them closer though. Lil J’s tweet about Battle Buddies will forever hurt.

The fans are threatening his family, dropping AH, leaving dozens upon dozens of "Aged like milk" in comments and replies, and making videos just to bash all the above.
And everytime I remind myself of this I feel a little more cold and dead inside.

That’s the point, that’s how people like him trick people. Obviously what he did was nowhere near as bad Ted Bundy’s actions, but his modus operandi of luring people in with a false sense of security and compassion before stabbing you in the back was eerily similar.

I've been watching ah since the first office. I started an ah fan club in school and always, from day one, idolized ryan. This absolutely destroyed me
This is what it’s like to grow up in an instant. This is just the real world. So many times watching golden years it would relieve stress for me at the end of the day. My “pain” can’t remotely be compared to the victims or his family so I pray for them. I wish once good memories would stay that way....but now it’s tainted. This is what real life is unfortunately. There are monsters out there. Hiding in plain sight.
The intro to this video took me down memory lane where Achievement Hunter (2012-2013) was ground breaking for me, so sad to see this company stumble and fall in this decade. Great video!
He's a monster. To use his own kids against these young girls and traumatize them more than he already has is so disgusting and scary. Thank you for keeping us updated. Thinking about the times I've met him makes my skin crawl. It really makes you think about how many people like him could be out there using their platforms to be predators.

I’ll probably wake up tomorrow and wonder if this was a strange dream, because it all feels so surreal. But this was a well made and well done video, so thank you!
I just found out about this today. I'm really annoyed. This video is like the 12th video I've watched, but the contextual evidence is the most helpful. I've seen the google drive download too. So sad. His kids will have trouble growing up, forever.
I don't like the insinuations of "how could they miss this" because it's clear that everyone missed this. Ryan always acted weird and we can dissect various comments from this timeframe; but the truth is that no one had an inkling that Ryan was going on this dark, destructive, also self-destructive, path towards ruining his life, hurting the girls he exploited, and hurting friends and family the way he did.
I mean, the whole story about he and his wife being teenage sweethearts, no one saw this coming.
Compare to Geoff's admissions, of fully consensual dating and attempts at polyamory when he was still married to Griffon... not that surprising. If it was Gavin before he met Meg, I wouldn't have been THAT surprised (he was a little perv, as much as we like him he was that way back then).
Ryan however, the only person who could shock me more would be Jack.

When he told that missing flight story, I always thought he made up the part where Uber and Lyft didn't show up, but that he made it up for entertainment or comical value. Because, what are the chances that BOTH Uber AND Lyft aren't available on what seemed was a regular morning? I thought he was just exagerating that part but not for the reasons we now know.
As someone who just graduated from Georgia southern I’ve been ashamed since this happened. I literally reached out to him at one point because I was suicidal and he never replied. Learning he was screwing girls at the same time fucked me up

After all this time I still miss Ryan, he felt like family and letting go of that is hard. But seeing this definitely makes letting go alot easier.
I feel like people who say they can't believe it was Ryan have never been harassed by "nice guys" before. Sometimes they are the worst of all the types.

Just wanna say before getting into the heavier part of this is that I adore the 70's AU Phoenix you did! He looks amazing!! With that said time for a bit of a mess I'm about to write.
Anyone else remember Onision? Ryan reminds me so much of him. Now I don't have much room to talk as the way I came to know about Rooster Teeth and their work was through their show "Camp camp", however just from the information alone it's easy to see the overlaps that both Ryan and Onision share. Both have never really been faithful partners, some great examples are the "Billie" situation that took yt by storm. Another glaring overlap is how both use their power or fame against the parties in question. All the parties who had been taken advantage of were underage, while one was more grooming like than the other it's still not okay on a number of levels.
A final thing I noticed that overlapped one another was the fact that neither owned up for what they did and instead chose to dodge or use something/someone else as a scapegoat. While I can understand why they'd want to do either, when allegations such as these pile up you don't have much of a choice as hiding or denying only incriminates you more in the eyes of others. Had Ryan chosen to speak the truth yes he'd most likely get criminally charged but at least then people would be able to rest a little easier knowing that this person that we once loved actually did the right thing.
That's merely my thoughts on the situation at hand, apologies for such a long comment I simply wanted to state my thoughts and opinions. Please have a wonderful morning/day/evening/night and I do hope you continue to stay safe.

This is the exact person I related when tell my parents and coworkers of this situation, Ryan was my Bill Cosby, the person I loved to hear and watch every single day. And then now makes me feel sick knowing what he did.
I grew up loving the Cosby Show. I was and still am disgusted by his actions. Ryan was one of my favorite members of AH and yup same disgust and disdain for both "men".

I don't think that people are surprised that a cheater had such vulgar messages, they're surprised that it was Ryan. He was one of my favorite AH members so hearing about all this hit me like a train. I was in denial for quite awhile, hoping that it wasn't true because he was someone I looked up to. When you think you know someone, especially for many years, this kind of news comes with a shock.

I’ve been loving ah for about 7 years (since I was 12/13) and this has completely ruined the joy those old videos gave me in my teenage years. I’m so sad and wish I could erase him from all those old videos.
This takes a lot of the content I enjoy through formative years and makes it difficult to stomach, and in retrospect makes me wonder how signs have been missed all this time. Most of us know some creep like this in reality, who’s behavior fits a startlingly similar patter as someone we all adored. I wish the best for AH/RT but I feel weird about consuming their content anymore.
the fact that he reminds me of my abusive ex is....yikes....and I've heard stories about my ex having gone after teenage girls (after I dumped him and while he was married) and him getting fired as a result of it. I feel sorry for his family and the girls he took advantage of

They said they won’t be releasing any new content with him in it. Which is why in October a lot of regular uploads didn’t happen

I feel the same way as you do. I did find a couple of playlists where kind fans have gone out of their way to make sure the videos don't have him in it. The one I have been watching is by Hannah Horwell and its called Achievement Hunter without Ryan Haywood. I've watched a lot of the videos on the playlist and thankfully haven't come across him. I hope this helps you in a small way.

The best thing to do in times like these is to pick a side, make some people's personal business everyone's sensational curiosity, and feel like we as people with nothing to do with it are the real ones who deserve an apology because as fans we basically own these people.

I remember being a teenager, wanting to seem hot and ready for an "adult" because I was "grown" But after the things I did in college and rest of my 20s, I definitely wasn't ready for all that as a teen. How my mom was always over my shoulder when I started entering Yahoo Chatrooms (if anyone remembers that mess) is the one time Im glad my mom was overprotective... Sheesh... never would have thought I'd have to see someone I use to enjoy watching so much turn out like this... Ive always liked Michael and the others more than ryan, hell I liked Jeremy, Matt, Lindsay, Fiona, Trevor and Alfredo more than ryan when they first joined. I didn't have anything against him other than that he just seemed full of himself and he always felt off to me.
I think all of us can agree when I say I am both shocked and disgusted in Ryan’s actions, I’ve watched achievement hunter and let’s play for years, and enjoy their content still. I cannot believe that I have not known anything about this until today and I am sad for that, thank you for making this video. It comes as a shock to me and I think a lot of people, it’s crazy to think someone you look up to can be so morally corrupt. I feel terrible for all of the women he has affected, and proud that they came forward to bring to light the terrible things that he has done.

A million people have pointed this out already, but on the RTAA Ryan could have EASILY screenshot the barcode and it would have worked. I've done that many times as a backup and many of the RT cast talk about doing that too. Like....it wouldn't have been hard to do that as insurance. The whole "it wouldn't load" thing is bullshit

Yes! I got a lot of hateful comments on this video that I've deleted. Some are incredibly insensitive so I just really didn't want them published. He still has quite a big fan base and support group, it seems.

This is disturbing and terrible! I watched these guys for years, I hope Ryan gets what he deserves and spends a long time in a cell. I feel so horrible for these young girls that were abused and taken advantage of. I feel bad for his wife and kids too, I hope they are able to recover and start over. I came over here from a video about Mini Ladd and Lui Calibre’s underage victims. Scary how all this stuff gets sweeped under the rug. Thank you for reporting this and going into depth about it. 21:15 - Gavin asks "What did you get dumped for?" In retrospect it seems pretty likely that she did that because he was cheating on her. Look, I don't know the guy personally, obviously. I'm not his therapist. But I can share what I suspect, and I'd suspect that Ryan is a textbook case of anti-social personality disorder (aka a psychopath). It seems to me, at least from a distance, that he fits almost all of the DSM-V criteria. And psychopaths start exhibiting their symptoms in their teenage years. So if he really does have anti-social personality disorder he probably had it back then too. Which would make it very likely that he was cheating on her back then too.

i havent watched rooster teeth shit in like 3 or 4 years but i used to listen to the rt pod until like a year ago. i still liked to check in with the company especially in the last couple years when they’ve been falling apart, and ill attempt to watch the content (i mainly watched AH content) and it’s just god awful now that im a grown man. all the new people are not funny, they did their best people dirty, and now this happens. it’s wild to think how successful they were for so long and they were like a model channel/site for all internet personalities. everything about youtube is shitty now especially the gaming community

I can understand why people would be upset with RT as a whole and would abandon the community, after all: they had two.. homewreckers in their midst, and at least one of the individuals blatantly flaunted it in front of the others and no one caught on. However, I still support AH/RT because of how they handled the situation. If they had come out and been like, "Yeah. We just reprimanded them, a real slap on the wrist. They'll be back in content after some real therapy!" I would have abandoned them, too. But (thankfully) that's not what happened.. They fired them as soon as they saw the leaks. And the main cast that this person interacted with came out and said how *disgusted* they were with them... that monster will not be the end all/be all of AH. He's a horrible human.. wrecking his actual family and his work family like this, instead of just.. being sensible and getting divorced...
This really sucks I've spent a majority of my life watching rooster teeth videos. And ryan was a key part in shaping my personality and sense of humor. Every time I play minecraft I always have an Edgar and a tower of pimps. I loved Ryan my favorite teams were team love and stuff and the r and r connection. Its a damn shame that this happened

Not that I know of. Last I heard, he's going to be trying to come back to Twitch and start streaming again with whatever audience he has left. 🙄

Being a RoosterTeeth and Achievement Hunter fan, beyond angry. Still am. I met Ryan in 2016, I regret meeting him now. I looked up to many of the guys in AH, Geoff in particular Jack, Jeremy, and Ryan, but after everything came out. I was sick to my stomach! Knowing that I met that monster and gave him a hug, it’s fucking disgusting that he even touched me. I don’t care what he was into, it makes my skin crawl knowing that I looked up to him, got a hug from him, and just cheered him on for years.

I was thinking the same thing. Rooster Teeth fans know he's married, so why did they become a part of the relationship in the first place?
The fact they took pictures too and keeping them to show people in the future. Ryan is still the guilty one here, but those women were just as bad, though they had the evidence we needed. This whole situation is something.

Horrible as it may be. The fact that the documentation taken from these meet ups show more than him being a perverted freak. These young women get to shine (yes shine cause they don't convince me as bothered even slightly especially considering they're making a PROFIT in more ways than one with their stories of "victimhood") as victims while still technically having their first time with someone semi famous. I don't believe they're as bothered by the actions they agreed to and feel just as disgusted with them. Growing up I knew plenty of girls who wanted to do things with me well before I even knew what sex was. From girls groping my genitals to rubbing their bodies against mine sexually. All I'm saying is this needs a new perspective where we finally acknowledge that these young women/girls feel invincible and have all the power to do as they please to get what they want from boy/men. Hard as it may be to acknowledge, these girls are more dangerous than people are willing to admit. That being said, Ryan deserves the hardships that came his way. Hope he gets the help he needs.

Ryan is definitely to blame but, those girls knew exactly what they were doing. They knew he was married and had kids. 17 and up you know what you're doing.
But also teens make stupid decisions. I know.....because I've made many.
