  • In this video we visit Daisy Nook, a small countryside park sandwiched between Ashton-Under-Lyne and Oldham. We aim to capture song birds in the ever changing weather conditions.

    Got you're Dads sentiment entirely , we stop in weekend just go out midweek. Just had a fantastic week in Rosedale, cottage in a farm. guy who owned told me of a Barn Owl that appeared every night, and it did! Dippers in the river through the farm. Magic place.

    Love the father & son photography day out definitely memories to be cherished. Your vlog also gave me an idea for a woodland just behind my house which I haven't been to in over 10 years. Might be worth a days walk to see what's about and feed an area!
    Looking forward to your future uploads mate. All the best.

    Enjoying your videos ! Been following along for a while now 👍
    Just a quick one you may or may not know this but… “
    “Whole peanuts should always be provided in a wire mesh feeder so that birds can only take small pieces rather than whole nuts and there is little risk of them choking. This is especially important during the breeding season when adult birds may feed them to their chicks.” I remember my dad telling me this but just thought I’d share as seems you put out full size peanut down!
    Not trying to tell you how to suck eggs 😂 keep up the good work 👍

    Very nice like this style of vlogging with your dad just walking around and shoot away😀 one tip: the soundtrack was a bit to loud making your voice hard to hear. Maybe skipping that when talking? Anyways…new subscriber and looking forward to your next one👍 have a look at my digiscoping channel …just started out…regards from Holland🇳🇱

    Hi Dannt can I ask what the camera support clamp on the lens attached to the Gimbal please

    • @danwillis_photography
      @danwillis_photography  Před 2 lety +1

      It’s a Gitzo gimbal head and the plate attached to the lens came with the gimbal. Hope this answers your question Derrick 👍🏻

    what kind of food you feed the birds?

    • @danwillis_photography
      @danwillis_photography  Před 2 lety +1

      At this time of year peanuts and seed, in the spring when they have chicks I avoid peanuts as some people believe that they choke them. I then use mealworms which are always the best
