Kenichi actually appreciate Nagisa because back then his wife is hosptalized and Nagisa takes good care of her. Thanks to Nagisa, Kenichi's wife's condition recovered now. In addition,he is the fan of Kenichi because he is from " Days Salisbury Steaks". Because of this, Kenichi's restaurant became the most popular. Upon hearing about his younger brother and his friend in the school reunion, he also heard from Nagisa about what they spoke ill of Keichi. Kenichi became upset and apologised to Keichi and Nagisa. Both of them forgive him because he is decent person and also victim.
Afterstory: Like the video said , Kenji got chewed out by his brother. So now he's not included in any more year-end parties or drinking get-togethers. And apparently, their classmates back home and gossiping about him being a troublemaker who doesn't know good food. Obviously, everyone witnessed at the restaurant that day . Including Takuya who's now the shadow of former self.
Extra: Since then, both Kenji and Takuya were being jobless. They realized that Keichi is reliable so they ask him to hire them, but Keichi declined. After all, he fed up with his so -called friends. They parents disowned them and apologised to Keichi, and they give them the final blow, "Don't come back again when you want money and stop messing with Keichi." Eventually they give up and called their classmates for financial, but they know what they did at the restaurant so they blocked them. Now both of them managed to work at the labour, many construction workers mocking them pathetic and they both kept quarreling and they blaming each other.
Oh, I forgot about the girls who stand Kenji and Takuya. Because of the school reunion, everyone knows what they did to Nagisa. In the past, they bully Nagisa who wants to be a nurse in the future. Also, they even spread rumours of her little brother. Keichi saw everything and defended them, still they mocks for fun. Now, they were isolated by the colleagues and the president so they resigned. Now, they worked at the hostess club or at the convenience store.
As for Keichi and Nagisa, Nagisa appreciate Keichi when he cheered her up. Now, both of them became couple even though they separated but they kept in touch. A few days later, Keichi propsed to Nagisa and Nagisa shed happy tears and said yes. They held at the wedding at Kenichi's Italian restaurant, and everyone blessed with them including Kenichi's wife. A few years later, Nagisa give birth to quadruplets and they lived happily ever after.
