  • In Russia, we a lot of abandoned buildings. Mostly this is constructions that were started just before the fall of the USSR and since that time have never been continued. And while it's not really safe to walk there, let's agree that they have their own charm. Generations were growing up in this places. Why to build modern playgrounds when we have this! So I this video I will share with you my favorite abandoned buildings of Spassk, and try to ask local people about their history. Let's go!

      Well said, Rick.
The sheer lack of brains of those asking for comment from Natasha beggars belief. I suspect they are from the lower echelons of society, "nice" people whose careless ignorance is all about themselves and their stupidity. They don't stop to consider anyone who is in danger; their's is the cosy little world of indifference to the plight of others as long as their sanctimony is paraded for all to see.

However, many Russian citizens are being arrested/disappeared for saying precisely that. They face arrest for simply standing next to a poster in a photograph which advocates for equal rights for goodness' sake, or for wearing the wrong T shirt! Last year with no place left to turn I prayed to God in repentance then begged for help with all my heart, "I was until then a lifelong Atheist."
I then had a dream of Jesus coming before God and he spoke of the Tabernacle in perfect context, "A word I didn't know existed because I've never read the bible", and the love I felt from Jesus was unlike anything I've ever felt before - A lifetime of joy every second - It brought me to sobbing and it changed my life forever.
I've had other miracles since, a few being a light turning on in answer to deeply needful prayer 6 times, seeing a orb of light hours before a major surgery, seeing an Angel in a dream the night my mother prayed for me to see one, "Without telling me", and so much more.
Know that God and Jesus ARE real and that they love us deeply.
Let go of your hatred and Imagine yourself holding the people who've hurt you. Tell them you love and forgive them and do your best to follow, "I've failed many times", the 10 commandments.

Well said, and so true: "Older people are sad because they have lost their jobs there, the younger ones know no differently." I now one of those "older" people have just withdrawn from all the hoping and wishing that I had instilled into me as a child by the societies at large. I think now that I better for doing so... I feeling much more stable psychologically and emotionally. However, just ten-ish years ago I was living in and around Youngstown in the State of Ohio, many of the older 'Rust Belt" building had been repurposed to modern-ish industry shelters. Notice by me recently is that as the current old, San Francisco, is loosing its populous, Sacramento is booming in housing. I had no say in it happening, and that is disheartening to me... as some might say, it is saddening to this "old" man. It all plays out again and again, does it not?

Hello from the 🇺🇸 USA 👋🏻. Your channel was suggested to me and the first video I watched was in regard to Americans and their "smiles" & "small talk". I found it amusing and interesting to hear your perspective about both sides.
Your English is great and I have enjoyed your humor. You're very beautiful as well. I have a love and fascination with architecture and old buildings (including tags/graffiti). I love to see churches and cemeteries outside of the U.S. I really like seeing the history that makes Russia what it is/ has become.
I feel our country is rather boring other than perhaps the nature you find in various states. I'm from Northern Utah- closer to places like Las Vegas, Nevada and California if you need some familiarity as to what region of the US that is.
I subscribed after the 2nd video I watched because I very much enjoy your personality and how you explain things/ show us your perspective of the USA and Russia. I'm glad you were able to come visit our country. I've always had a fondness of Russians (and other cultures). It's difficult to say I would like to visit at this very moment considering what is taking place, but for years I definitely imagined how amazing it would be to visit the vastly varying areas of Russia and getting to know and understand Russian life and people better.
Please keep making videos if you are able and of course I wish you safety.

Very glad your channel was recommended to me. I wish I knew you personally. You have a great personality. Take care 🤍

We have these abandoned buildings in the USA also, especially in places that are affected by urban decay or blight, like parts of Detroit, MI and Camden, NJ. Also some shopping malls are becoming ghost malls as people switch to online shopping. As a kid I lived in a rural farming area and I would sometimes visit abandoned houses. I never knew the stories behind them.
Sometimes people think of the USA as a wealthy nation, which is not without truth, but not everyone shares in this wealth, so if you look under the facade you will find lots of poverty and decay in the USA (in some places).

It is interesting, how the situation is changing to the better in my hometown. Watching this video, I realized, that we have nothing to complaint about...There are almost no such buildings here now, even though there were a lot of them, when I was a teenager. We used to make photoshoots in front of them, and now there are new apartment blocks on that place, there was an abandoned building called "Moryatnik" ("A Marine building", called like this because of its round windows), where all the local rockers and goths used to spend their time, but now it is totally closed and is going to be ruined (or is ruined already), because the place where it is situated is going to be turned into the second part of the park "Razdolie" with kids' playgrounds and a water-park.. Oh! And the abandoned Soviet toilet at the embankment was turned into a restaurant! 😆😃😅

I've been in Russia Belarus and Ukraine since 1994, the amount of these buildings in 1994 compared to now it amazing. Russia has changed so much. I live in Crimea, for 25 years there were several buildings like this in Sevastopol. Since we joined Russia a lot of the building that had fallen into ruins are being restored. Right on the boardwalk of the village i live in we have a movie theater built in 1910, it's a really cool one since it has a summer theater and you could watch movies under the stars. The main theater isn't big by today's standards but it's right on the sea and is a very nice building. or was. czcams.com/video/dGQBooepLXc/video.html

Those concrete pillars btw, they look like the pillars we must use in my country (NL) to build houses on. The ground here, which is 50% under sea-level, is very soft, so these pillars are pounded into the ground by a machine until they hit a hard layer, then the buildings are built on them (oversimplified it a bit).

I live in rural Croatia and there are a lot of old ruined houses, part built houses etc. but they are mostly not entirely abandoned. Quite a lot of the houses people live in are only partly finished. Sometimes just the lower floor is completed, upstairs there are window openings with no frames, bare brickwork etc. Often the empty houses have been inherited by family members who sometimes go to cut the grass, harvest fruit trees or whatever.

A phenomenon in China that are similar to zabroshka would be unfinished buildings (烂尾楼) or even finished one with no one wants to purchase. Sometimes whole sections of them can even form a ghost town. No there are not caused by nuclear radiation 😅 but mostly due to poor planning and disruption of financing. And most of them are actually built quite recently en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Under-occupied_developments_in_China
