00:00 - Intro
00:35 - Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown
03:16 - F1 Manager 2024
04:35 - ExoCross
05:53 - CarX Street
07:34 - Assetto Corsa EVO
09:08 - There's even more to come! - Hry
Only excited for Assetto Corsa EVO on this list.
I do like my arcade games but the best game in this category is the Forza Horizon series.
Unfortunately we did not see anything about Forza Horizon 6 during the Microsoft / Xbox showcase.
Is ACE going to just be AC with more modern cars, more circuits and fancier graphics?
Or are they going to enhance the racing experience and give us Safety Cars, Red Flags, oval racing - things like that?
I think the most important things are physics, weather, FFB and online play. As pretty much all of the competition is working on very old platforms, kunos has a chance to deliver something truly next-generation that makes everything else seem obsolete.
@joachimhillside They are most important but that doesn't mean making the racing more authentic isn't important as well.
@@quietbatperson Yes, of course authenticity is important too.
I mean oval racing would be going in the other direction
TD Solar Crown as a live service! I'm out. The problem with live service games is that they all eventually become dead service games, and depending on sales can become dead very quickly.
So glad to hear your voice again giving us news of upcoming titles!!!
I don't understand the opinions that ACC is so "real" and better than GT7. It has more options for setup and not as arcade-easy to get into, but I don't see it. The sound of tires on the tarmac sounds like a bag of sand sliding across the desk, not the squeel on GT7 and that I hear when I drive on the track IRL. I may also be soured on it bc my DD Pro + setup meant for GT7 doesn't work as well on ACC. The wheel feels loose and I can't find a setup that feels good. I would, however, be thrilled to get the AC game and the entire list of cars and map on console and not just that ACC version.
@@jessicaphoenix1312 the incar is where its at in acc if you watch gt3 raceing and listen to the in car videos and then play acc its a huge difference than gt7… dont get me wrong im a gt head as ive been playing since gt2…. Acc is much more of a deeper sim as in set up reallly matters… gt7 is more of an easy sim allowing alll to get involved not much tuening is needed to be fast, acc it reallly helps to know the tunes as then you can start to open up amd flow thru the track
I hope that AC Evo has next gen VR support.
In the latest interview with the CEO he said there will be VR from start. Since they have a new engine let's hope it's optimized better than unreal
They do PSVR2 too
As far as I've been told, Reiza is onboard on the VR front....which is good
@@Mats-Henning-mo8kk reiza?
The new ac I'd be happier if they just put sector times in but I bet they don't if your not going to do it right don't do it at all!. I think we are going to need a miracle lol.
3:09 - Even though I believe it will have been improved, I feel like there's another "mixed" reception incoming for Test Drive. - Some people are gonna jump into it expecting a sim, others are gonna jump into it expecting something more arcade, a lot of responses will be... well, mixed, and so it will probably go down as not committing to one or the other.
KT/Nacon have already stated that they expect everything to be a huge grind also......... Like getting the Bugatti, they want it to take 100-200 hours......... I'm sorry, I am not dumping that much time into a racing game just to reach those cars. The always online junk is also a definite no-go. I'm tired of EVERYTHING needing to be 'online' to play. I'm an adult, let me buy a game and play it.....not play the way some dev thinks we should.
I'm glad "AC" is ditching UE again. Supposedly it was an issue to begin with, as usual with UE, but it also homogenizes videogames. There are exceptions where studios make great use of it, but there's always these telltales and certain looks and feels that just... somehow makes it feel "the same". - I really like custom stuff, like studios doing their own engines, or at LEAST heavily customized existing engines (like they did for say 'Callisto Protocol' with UE4, regardless of the game), as it gives games a unique feel. And it's probably also because they can get it to do what they want it to do better. Sometimes that's why studios move TO Unreal Engine, like CD Projekt RED is because of the limitations of their own, which is fair. But it's also done too much and I suppose "Competizione" was an example of it not being the best choice. It worked out in the end, but they clearly didn't like how much it took.
My only issue with them using a new in-house engine is the previous one frankly sucked. They said things like night, dynamic lights, weather, etc. were impossible and the community had to do it. And then they got upset about being criticized by the community.
Nice IRN BRU shout out! (I'm in the U.S. so I can only get it on rare occasions)
So I miss this video Traxion GG I glad they come back
Thank you for the nod to Top Racer Collection. The original Top Racer is the game that got me addicted to racing games and has one of the best soundtracks ever. Still one of the most fun racing games ever made.
Will AC evo replace ACC for gt3 racing?
I have my eyes on Pista foremost but certainly aware of this AC EVO thingy. And Golden Laps as a break from the regular schedule.
Sick!
car x street has been rumored to be "coming out this year" for about 5 years now...
You guys are so back
❤️
Keep an eye on Exo Rally Championship
Please consider adding chapters when working with list type videos.
Hey Nomustacheguy5249, we did originally have chapters within the description, but didn't seem to work. I have now removed and re-added them, thanks for flagging this up!
i do hope wreckreation is actually going to release sometime. excited for exocross though!
Fingers crossed! 🤞
TDU demo was a letdown. They promoted the game as having a more realistic physics than FH series. I didn’t feel that at all. Steering wheel feel was real bad as well. I felt like I had to turn my wheel way too much to turn.
Cant wait for Test drive and ACE, those 2 games will probably and HOPEFULLY be my new go to games in my rig, ACE will be for sure, but if Test drive cant get the performance and driving physics correct... well its a shame then, cuz the idea they talk about sounds amazing! so much better then horizon.
An open world gran turismo would be the game to make
🔥🔥 🍻 🍻
What was the game shown on screen just before F1 manager 2024? I’m curious to see the full roster of circuits given what we saw was an intriguingly butchered version of the Nürburgring and Jarama 🤔
The Jarama one was from Golden Lap! Another game coming later in the year 😊
I like that they're not doing licensed cars for some games. It's probably a budget-concern, but if you're gonna make a game about customized cars anyway, might as well just make them different enough that you don't need to pretend it's by a brand or some specific model. Well, you do pretend, actually, but I mean as in, they don't have to be like real-world accurate, but just cars you can customize. - Besides, it reduces the risk that they will be de-listed because of studios/publishers not paying for licensing anymore, which is a real issue in terms of keeping games available. - Just for context: From Codemasters alone, you can't officially buy any title from before 2020, just 4 years ago, including anything "DiRT" (only DiRT 5 and Rally 2, for now) or "GRID" (only "Legends") and for "F1" only back to 23 is available (which will probably turn into just 24 and 25 once the latter is out). And that's just from one studio. - It's a mess.
I’m so happy Assetto Corsa titles are doing well.
FFS! I just built my 1st pc a month or so ago and got ACC, I built a budget pc with the future in mind for upgrades as I can only run ACC at 60fps @1440p currently.... I was NOT anticipating having to upgrade this early!! 😂😂😂
That's you now, there is no turning back 😭
I pray for PSVR2 support on ACE. But I know my hopes are very likely going to be shattered.
🤞 If anything is heard about this, you will hear about it from us!
Why is there any excitement at all for a Test Drive game within the sim racing community? AC Evo has me anxiously waiting and a new Dirt Rally title keeps me hopelessly wanting.
Kinda looking at Rennsport rn
Evo better be good! TDU will be good in a year.
TDU worries me as a game that will be updated over the years.... that just says micro-transactions and DLC costing full game mrsp... I hope the don't ruin this game after all these years.
I am also waiting to see more about Assetto Corsa EVO and how it is going to compare to original AC 1 with all the mods it has. They have been keeping this game in the dark. I hope it is more than just another GT racing game. We have enough of those already. If it turns out to be just GT racing and no modding capabilities, then I will pass on getting this game
The other games mentioned in this video really don't interest me. Most are just Arcade type games.
Just hoping PS gets Forza like some rumors say
why do you think wreckreation is still come out this year or even coming out at all. nothing said in over 2 years
DRAG left a very mediocre first impression. It was kind of impossible to do well and enjoy it, as far as I remember, and it felt like they didn't know what they wanted it to be. - It sounds a bit more interesting now, but there's still a kind of generic look to it, other than the vehicles, which in turn still don't really seem right. - Just too bad that it's absorbed by the iRacing platform, or whatever happened, and it's not just on Steam on its own, it seems. - Interest gone. Could've kind of been like a new kind of "POD or Mega Racer but with dirt" in a way, but I suppose there's still "GRIP" that is somewhat in that direction. Not the dirt part, but still... It went more stylized and all that which I kinda hoped for "DRAG".
It's kind of like Redout in my opinion
Corsa and Exocross seems interesting. Other than this two is kinda bland games. and I follow some arcade racing that had some potential as well to be a fun games.
Man that TDSC footage looks baaad
Kunos is very deliberately not calling ACE Racing Simulator but Driving Simulator.
"Solar Crown" seems more like "Need For Speed" than most of the actual games in the last 15-20 years at this point. - "Forza Horizon" is still more like some of the oldest "Need For Speed" games (apart from some of the open-world and off-road stuff), but yea...
Be warned for Test Drive Unlimited. It will be 30 fps and online-only
So 1 game
I like iRacing. Good game.
If no psvr2 support for ACE, it will be another game I won't be purchasing. VR and racing games/sims is the way forward, like it, or not.
You'll be the one missing out
mxgp what a joke
F1 Manager still not worth it. Fool me once
Test drive is terrible..their have been a ton of pre order cancellations.
I'm tired of hearing about sim racers, as they all feature the sake tired and worn-out out vehicles and places. We need more Burnout-type games with more fictional content.
