Be awesome to see WALLY at TX2K this year
I really want to see that 6 this weekend! Good luck to the AMS team! I'll be watching live
I really enjoy watching your guy's build progress and wish you success in getting that 6
Excited to see the turnout💪🏽
Fire 🔥
Love the work and effort being put into this! But I do have one question. I'm not "in the know" of the rules. But, if you move the turbo 1mm or 1000mm, is it still a stock location? Can you bolt a stock turbo to this?
This is a great question! Turbos being stock location essentially means they are roughly configured in the same location as the stock turbos. So for example, with the GT-R, that means that it is situated in between the frame rails, near the exhaust ports. This was done on "Wally" so that Dave R could compete in a specific class.
Lord Willing spring/summer is a couple months away.
very cool ^○^
still waiting on gtx turbos on vr30ddtt...or is that a lost cause at this point.......😓
👍😎👏🎵🚗😍
Not hatin but Is it really stock location if you have to modify and cut away at the frame of the car to get turbo to fit
Hello friend! May I use your clip? You will be full credited. Thanks...
Imagine how many sharpie markers 🖊️are used to make engines 🤑
Excuse my ignorance, I am looking for insight....but why is it appealing to keep stock placement of the turbos? It's obviously not for convenience of the build because there is a ton of fabrication necessary.
You're certainly correct on the point of it not being the most convenient option in the sense of fabrication. The reason "Wally" has stock location turbos is because once the turbos are moved away from the stock location, the car is no longer eligible for the class that Dave competes in, as there are certain limitations to every class. Dave is also attempting to set the record for the first 68mm stock location R35 GT-R to run a quarter mile in the 6-second range.
@@AMSPerformance Thank you for the reply. Okay, I figured it was to fit into that class and break that record.
You guys are the pinicale no reason you shouldn't hold the AWD record y'all put In way to much time to not be at the top
